Analyst Relations Specialist

The Analyst Relations Specialist will be a pivotal member of the analyst relations and corporate communications teams for PTC. This high-energy and externally-facing person will help to drive the day-by-day engagements with industry analyst firms (Gartner, Forrester, IDC, ABI Research, etc.) in the interest of developing and nurturing the relationship with PTC as well as positively influencing PTC's position in the minds and reports of the analysts.

Engage. Communicate. Cultivate relationships. Produce insightful, accurate content. Serve as an external ambassador for PTC. The Analyst Relations Specialist will work closely with the Analyst Relations Manager to facilitate a two-way dialogue between industry analysts and PTC leadership.


  • Execute the goals of PTC's analyst relations program (1) build strong relationships with analysts, (2) positively promote PTC's vision, business, and technologies, and (3) secure top rankings in analyst reports.

  • Coordinate the day-by-day program activities: scheduling inquiries and briefings, overseeing the completion of report submissions, reviewing, fact-checking, and editing reports, report responses, messaging documents, etc.

  • Represent PTC in analyst-facing environments: coordinated briefings, analyst days, industry events, informal relationship-building situations, etc.

  • Evangelize the importance of the analyst relations program to PTC leadership and decision-makers and secure buy-in for important analyst-focused commitments.

  • Create a comprehensive internal process for cataloguing and sharing reports and other important analyst assets, for all of PTC to easily access.


  • Proven experience engaging directly with analysts or media, as well as high-ranking executives at a company.

  • Demonstrated history of using interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and constituents.

  • Strong written communication skills, with a demonstrable experience in writing, reviewing, and editing content (emails, analyst reports, news articles, messaging documents, etc.).

  • An accomplished history of going above and beyond the daily requirements of a job to address bigger-picture scenarios, proactively make recommendations, and identify new opportunities to make the analyst relations team and PTC world-class.

  • Consistent success as a self-starter, capable of seeing multiple projects through to completion with minimal manager supervision and input.

  • A no-excuses, can-do, positive attitude that elevates the energy in a room and encourages others to work harder.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field and 2+ years contributing to analyst relations, public relations, and/or corporate communications programs, preferable for a technology company.

A key domain area is augmented reality and you will also be working with IoT, CAD, and other product development tools.
