The Position

Arevon is recruiting for the position of an Analyst, Project Management and Construction, an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century.

Job Description

In this position, the Analyst, Project Management and Construction will collaborate closely with Project Managers and various internal departments, such as Estimation, Procurement, Accounting, Project Finance, Development, and Construction. The role involves assisting Project Managers with daily tasks and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications. The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in renewable energy and education in a related field. They have a solid track record of teamwork and enjoy working on a dynamic and diverse team. They possess the technical skills required and have a background in engineering, construction, or project management. Strengths include exceptional organizational skills, adept project tracking, and the capacity to meet stringent deadlines for a diverse range of internal stakeholders. They desire the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and thrive in an environment that requires flexibility and adaptation to constant change, shifting demands, and moving timelines.

Responsibilities

Provide overall support to the project management team including but not limited to:

  • Assist Project Managers in updating and maintaining project schedules, as well as ensuring key project milestones are identified and responsible parties are notified of the action required using critical path methodology.

  • Review, analyze, and optimize third party EPC construction schedules and verify for accuracy, manpower loading and headcount.

  • Maintain tracking logs for material and equipment purchases/ deliveries by follow-up with contractors/ suppliers.

  • Manage internal project budget/schedule of values, for monthly financial reporting.

  • Schedule and attend weekly project meetings and distribute meeting minutes.

  • Build relationships with contractors.

  • File documents, track progress, and update project team.

  • Maintain submittal and RFI logs with contractors including requesting and transmitting submittals.

  • Manage vendor invoice review process, and communication with Accounts Payable.

  • Prepare reports for various stakeholders which demonstrate trends, patterns, and predictions.

  • Prepare and present final analysis reports to stakeholders, enabling them to make business decisions based on various facts and trends.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills; detail oriented.

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently.

  • A team player with a can-do attitude.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks effectively and work efficiently.

  • Ability to plan and anticipate potential issues that may impact construction progress and communicate to Senior Management.

  • Motivated to learn and grow in the project management field.

Education Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in engineering, construction management, or similar discipline.
