Within the Liberty Mutual organization, the Personal Lines Delivery teams develop, implement, and monitor the latest large-scale product updates across multiple lines of business in Personal Insurance in most major U.S. markets. This team develops state-specific pricing programs with a goal of improving speed to market, ensuring accurate and timely implementation, and elevating customer experience while continuing to improve our internal processes.

The Auto Personal Lines Delivery team is a fast-paced and dynamic group dedicated to delivering the latest Auto product and pricing updates to U.S. insurance markets.

In this role you will...

  • Communicate and collaborate across a wide range of internal teams to influence and drive success in achieving business goals

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Auto pricing programs and support impacted teams across the organization

  • Create data-driven analysis and recommendations that are presented out to Senior Leadership and key market stakeholders (Director of State Operations)

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to manage and implement state-specific programs across the U.S.

  • Research, develop and implement processes improvements to deliver best-in-class solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Focuses on development and implementation of Countrywide Auto Rating Programs

  • Supports state-level implementation work, including customer impact analysis, regulatory material preparation, cross-functional and continuous communication, etc.

  • Conducts analysis with varying levels of complexity

  • Queries data to conduct ad-hoc analysis of metrics and answer advanced business questions to support stakeholder questions with limited guidance

  • Helps develop actionable recommendations to project teams and stakeholders

  • Provides technical and analytical support for assigned states and projects

  • Demonstrates proficient project management skills

  • Independently structures and performs daily work

  • Adopts new processes and contribute to additional innovation, trainings, job shadows, etc.

  • May mentor new hires, rotational analysts, or interns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or other quantitative field. Minimum 2 years, typically 3 years or more of relevant work experience.

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software (e.g., SAS, Access).

  • Must have good planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.

We are looking for a leader with strong organizational leadership skills, a background in product/application security, a demonstrated progression of management scope, and a passion for managing outstanding managers and engineers in a fast-paced environment. ENGINEERING MANAGER - PRODUCT SECURITY ASSESSMENTS AND ANALYSIS RESPONSIBILITIES * Support a team of highly capable engineers and engineering managers that help product and infrastructure keep their code free from security bugs Support the product security organization in following through on their existing multi-year roadmap and help the organization define what comes next Work closely with engineering leaders across the company to help them prioritize security issues in their products Work closely with security leadership to help define company-wide security goals and ensure product security goals are properly represented and aligned Collaborate with leadership to define company-wide security risk thresholds and help teams balance product and security needs in their decision making Provide executive leadership with a consolidated view on the security of our products, roadmaps around product security, and key solutions being developed to address product security risk MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * 10+ years of work experience in software or security engineering, including 5+ years of proven hands-on technical management experience of software engineers and software engineering managers Experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management Technical experience across security disciplines – web applications, mobile, infrastructure, etc. Experience building relationships with stakeholders and business leaders Coding experience in at least one language (even if it is not one that Facebook uses) BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Background in automated program analysis Experience running operational teams Facebook's mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
