Job Description:

The Search Analyst is responsible for monitoring and maintaining media campaign development and activation on search channels. The ideal candidate requires proficiency in math, strong analytical skills, attention to detail as well as creativity and an overall interest in and understanding of how consumers leverage search media in the decision path. This level also requires participation in and excel at both our agency wide entry-level training program as well as our search specific training track.

  • Gather research necessary to build a new campaign

  • Assist the manager in gathering necessary data for plan development

  • Generate paperwork necessary for purchase authorization and ensure vendor counter signature is received

  • Primary party responsible for trafficking approved plan

  • Monitor and maintain campaign budgets, pacing and bid adjustments

  • Active monitoring and management of performance and competitive landscape

  • Monitor and optimize paid search performance to meet business objectives

  • Develop optimization recommendations

  • Utilize bid management tools as well as Google, Bing and Oath paid search platforms to build campaigns, implement optimizations, pull reporting, and QA campaigns

  • Implementation of optimizations and/or testing plans

  • Pulling and analyzing data to inform campaign reporting and helping to build insights

  • Responsible for granular maintenance of monthly billing cycle

  • Responsible for resolving all billing discrepancies in partnership with client strategy and billing reconciliation team

  • Responsible for learning all relevant tools for reporting, analytics and competitive analysis - bid management platforms, Benchtools, Google Trends

  • Work closely with manager to establish priorities and manage workload

  • Timely delivery of all work

  • Stay informed on search industry trends and new tools and ad formats

  • Successful completion of training programs and requisite certifications

Motorola Mobility is looking for a SEM/SEO Specialist, who will be responsible for the creation and management of paid search. He/She has the responsibility to complete assigned tasks and achieve the KPI’s set for paid search. Other responsibilities include generating the keyword strategy and bids for shopping and text ads and owning the end to end search strategy, from the brief to reporting and optimizations. Responsibilities Include: * Ownership of Google Ads account & Merchant Center * Weekly and monthly SEM reporting * Ongoing optimization of all search & shopping campaigns, including: o Ad copy testing and improvements o Testing and knowledge of bid strategies & targeting options o Keyword development and negating o Ad extensions & managing promotions o Spending budget in full without losing efficiency o Exceeding business KPIs, and more. * Set-up and execution of all new search & shopping campaigns, including: o Working with Google reps o Overall strategy o Keyword research, development & negating o Targeting o Ad copy writing for different ad types o Add and manage new PLA listings in Merchant Center * Research & information gathering to ensure paid search is aligned to the business with product features & timing, positioning in the market, promotions, competition, and more * Work closely with media team to provide insights and recommendations that align with, or enhance, business strategy. Includes developing media plans, sharing learnings, and presentation of insights and results * Analysis of paid search trends through Google Analytics, search platform reports and third-party tools * Identification of opportunities for SEO Position Requirements: Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Finance or a quantitative field. * At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing search, including strategy (Google Ads / AdWords experience required) * Research of competitive paid search landscape * Demonstrated ability to perform position responsibilities Preferred Qualifications: * Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or similar Lenovo Chicago IL
