Where and When You Will Work
The position will be based in the Farmer Mac Johnston, Iowa, location. Core business hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m. Central. Work outside of these times may be required for planned and unplanned activities to complete time sensitive projects.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Perform calculations of debt service for Farmer Mac USDA loans and full serviced loan portfolios
Post receipts and disbursements for the Farmer Mac USDA loan portfolio within the servicing software
Post payments received by check, wire, ACH and lockbox on the full serviced loan portfolios Perform bank account reconciliations
Complete changes due to service actions on the USDA loan portfolio in the servicing software to ensure maximum utilization is achieved
Fund Farmer Mac USDA weekly settlements in the servicing software
Calculate amounts due for USDA loans over 180 days delinquent. Prepare letters and track loans throughout the demand for repurchase process
Prepare custom collection reports for Farmer Mac USDA seller banks Update index values in servicing software
Provide back-up to Senior Administrator
Provide front line customer service to Farmer Mac, Investors, seller banks, field servicers, and borrowers
Test new versions of servicing software
Assist with internal and external audits and reviews Assist with staff training
Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years mortgage accounting and reporting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Our compensation philosophy is targeted pay positioning relative to peers, our industry, and external markets. Farmer Mac is committed to a compensation program that will enable the organization to attract, motivate, reward, and retain highly skilled and creative talent to maintain sustained long-term performance and achieve the organization's strategic business objectives. The typical base pay range for this role is $53,000 to $59,000.
