JOB SUMMARY

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the analysis of business needs to identify business problems and propose appropriate software solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze business processes and software change requests to determine system requirements

  • Develop and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrices for each software change requests

  • Create programming specifications from the business needs analyses

  • Feed suggestions for improving workflows into the business community

  • Provide application support as needed

  • Use reporting tools to perform ad hoc data analyses as needed to support business cases

  • Work with the QA Lead to develop the testing protocols and documents

  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements

  • 3-5 years required of prior experience in the role of a business analyst (5+ preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS or Business Administration or equivalent experience

  • Familiarity with programming languages, especially VB 6 and C#

  • Working knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server 2008

  • Grasp of basic accounting principles

  • Able to communicate business needs to software developers

  • Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties

  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Prepare financial statement spreads using the Moody's financial statement analysis software. This duty is performed about 30% of the time. 2. Prepare in-house spreadsheets designed to quantify borrower's personal, global and real estate debt service abilities. This duty is performed about 30% of the time. 3. Prepare narrative analysis of findings and recommendations for lenders. This duty is performed about 30% of the time. 4. May assist, coordinate and attend loan committee. This duty is performed about 5% of the time. 5. Requires review of outgoing analysis prepared by the CA I position. This duty is performed about 5% of the time. 6. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. 7. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. 8.
