We are hiring an Inventory Analyst to join our Warehouse team!

DISCOVER

Are you a data-driven analyst looking for an exciting opportunity at a great company? In our fast-paced, multi-plant manufacturing environment, accurate inventory tracking and management is of the utmost importance.

As Inventory Analyst, you will work to identify the root causes of variances in inventory related to our industry-leading Endless Pools, Hot Spring Spas, Caldera Spas, Freeflow Spas, and Fantasy Spas products, then will establish and maintain programs to track our progress towards improving these inaccuracies. You will also play a key role in the rollout of our new ERP system and will serve as a point of contact and training resource for our U.S. and Mexico-based warehouse teams.

YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT

  • Are you proficient in Statistical Process Control? Relying on your Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience and problem-solving abilities, you will determine the causes of inventory inaccuracies, quickly and accurately reconcile them, then develop processes to control them going forward.

  • Do you work well cross-functionally? This role will require collaboration with several cross-functional teams.

You'll partner with Engineering, Production Control and Document Control to ensure that all bills of material are systematically reviewed. You'll also assist in developing methods for improving stockroom activities concerning receiving and issuing parts and assemblies.

  • Are you meticulous and diligent? Periodically, you will perform audits to determine the accuracy of our manual and system operations, including WIP, Stockroom, MRB, Finished Goods, Receiving, and relevant manual transactions. A thorough attention to detail will be crucial in helping you use our build schedule to determine current and future stockroom space and labor requirements.

  • Are you analytically minded? You will analyze various work instructions to ensure cycle count/suspense batch parts are verified to be within the acceptable tolerances outlined therein.

  • Are you a reporting specialist? In collaboration with the Demand Planning Manager, you will be tasked with writing and maintaining Jet Reports. Other reporting duties will include assisting with reconciliations and tracking and preparing reports for all inter-departmental and inter-plant inventory transfers.

  • Can you manage processes? You will have oversight of our cut-down and scrap reporting transactions.

In partnership with members of our Operations team, you will ensure these processes are completed in a timely manner. You will also be tasked with outlining and streamlining our Excess & Obsolete processes, performing monthly E&O reviews, and preparing related reports for management.

  • Do you enjoy training others? We are in the process of transitioning to a new ERP system.

You will support our transition efforts by testing the system, pulling reports, and training others to ensure business continuity throughout the transition period. We'll rely on you as our department's subject matter expert and will lean on your expertise as we learn to navigate and improve the new system.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from four-year college or university and a minimum of 2-5 years' experience in related subject matter, such as supply chain, accounting, and/or finance. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Advanced product and commodity knowledge as well as knowledge of stockroom procedures, policies, and guidelines is a plus.

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

  • APICS certification a plus.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word and very strong Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Access and working knowledge of MS Navision.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to and interact with all levels within the organization, speaking to details when necessary.

  • Strong ability to effectively work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a collaborative team environment.

  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally, including to our facilities in Tijuana, MX.
