Position Summary

The Planning Analyst, Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) is responsible for supporting the planning of finished good internal inventory movement and providing key analytical insights to ensure product is at the right place at the right time. The planning analyst will support the development, implementation, and sustainment of processes, behaviors and tools that facilitate the planning and transfer inventory in a cost effective and efficient fashion while being mindful of the needs of the customer. This is a great opportunity to support our expanding Wine & Spirits distribution footprint and implement best practice procedures as we look to optimize our network.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage processes, behaviors, and plans to facilitate effective Distribution Requirements Planning between our production facilities and distribution centers

  • Generate reporting that provides insights needed to identify and manage risk related to supply availability, overstock and stranded inventory, and inventory imbalances between distribution centers

  • Execute transfers of inventory between distribution centers to proactively mitigate supply risk and minimize obsolescence risk in a cost effective manner

  • Participate in collaboration meetings with key Operations business partners including Logistics, Transportation, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and Production teams to align on distribution needs and develop risk mitigation plans

  • Support weekly Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) meetings by advising on DRP related risk and supporting actions needed to deliver on business needs

  • Develop process documentation to detail best practice activities and standardize work to support DRP tasks, particularly related to new processes required to support our expanding distribution center network

  • Support DRP and Imports Planners by performing ad-hoc analyses as needed

  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business, and work to achieve the organization's operational and financial goals

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university majoring in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or another business-related field

  • 1-2 years' experience in Planning, Finance, Optimization, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, or other analytical roles

  • Ability to deliver concise, summarized assessments that drive effective business decisions

  • Proficiency in Excel, including experience using pivot tables, slicers, nested formulas, etc.

  • Strong critical thinking & problem-solving skills

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with co-workers, related internal functions, external partners, and on project teams.

  • Flexibility with hours on occasion to accommodate business partners across a variety of time zones

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in supply chain role in CPG industry or beverage manufacturer

  • Ability and high comfort level with presenting across all levels of an organization

  • Solid understanding of Excel including experience with Power Query and Power Pivot, modeling with large, disparate datasets and visualization techniques

  • Solid understanding of relational databases

  • Model building expertise to answer "what if" scenarios

  • Visualization software experience (MicroStrategy, Tableau, PowerBI)

  • SQL, VBA and/or other programming language skills a bonus

  • APICS Certification (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD)

  • ERP systems knowledge (JDA, SAP S/4HANA)

The salary range for this role is:

$56,200.00 - $115,400.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
