The Opportunity

  • Responsible for all aspects of validation, sample analysis and data preparation in support of pre-clinical and clinical studies. Ensure all work is conducted in accordance to GLP/GCP regulations.

How you will contribute to make a difference

  • Conduct validation and sample analysis as per study method, in life study plan and or analytical/validation plans and SOPs in accordance to GLP/GCP. Promptly prepare and submit results after analysis.

  • Work as a team and as directed by Study Managers and Lab Managers. Provide status reports on projects and accountable for meeting agreed timelines and performance quality.

  • Operate and maintain compliant use of all analyzers and equipment as per SOP/GLP. Assist senior staff with remediating repairs, general service and maintain reagent inventory.

  • Develop scientific knowledge of the work performed and increase skill in pipetting technique, the use of on-line data capture systems (Watson, Softmax etc.) and general office software.

  • Assist with data quality control, promptly document deviations and address audit findings via TRACS.

  • Attend and participate in study initiation meetings and scientific presentations.

  • Properly store, track and dispose samples, reagents, reference standards and test articles.

  • Participate in weekend, holiday and late shift rotations.

  • Ensure safe work practices and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • The incumbent carries out additional duties and tasks, if needed and required.

The Opportunity The Underwriting Analyst is responsible for providing support to underwriting. Duties will include reviewing and handling submission requests, process new business and renewals through the company's financial system in a timely and accurate manner, researching property locations for prior coverage and losses using Munich Re America and Munich systems, assigning occupancies to locations, calculating total insured values and entering quotes in CIP Property quoting and rating system, Communicating with brokers/agencies, customers and internal departments and special projects as needed. YOUR JOB * Organize submission information: * Review the submission or specification * Review the limits, deductibles and input terms and conditions into global and local systems * Clear submissions for single risk and facultative certificate in the appropriate Munich global system * Perform quality control of system entries to ensure accurate financials and mitigate any resulting financial impacts; maximize the integrity, quality and usability of information which will minimize discrepancies encountered by local and global data consumers * Work with Underwriters, internal departments and clients to ensure all assumptions are properly included * Independently handle endorsements, resolve claims and accounting issues * Prepare quotes and binders * Policy Review * Policy Processing for both insureance single risk policies, endorsements and reinsurance certificates * Research loss information * Internal processing and research support on complex submissions. Provide Underwriters with required reports and analysis. * Run basic rating and pricing models * Complete insurance single risk, reinsurance facultative certificate pricing and data analysis with minimal supervision * Assist less experienced employees with basic solutions and participate on global or local projects as assigned * Ability to Travel –New York Munich Re Princeton NJ
