Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is a $3.2 Billion in vitro diagnostics operating company that is wholly owned by Danaher Corporation. The position of Project Manager reports to the Vice President of Technical Customer Support with the primary responsibility to manage and control new and current product line metrics for the Diagnostics Operating Company, Beckman Coulter.
We are looking for a dynamic candidate who has a passion for Project Management and/or Operating Analysis to join our team! As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. You will be working closely with US and international associates. The candidate will support Technical Customer Support Product Line specific metrics and New Product Development milestones, including go to market readiness. The candidate provides leadership and support/implement all DBS tools appropriate for Lean and Growth.
Partners with Commercial Service Teams and Finance to drive Service Cost initiatives
Responsible for achievement of QDIP (Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Production) metrics for all projects in the portfolio
Applies a theoretical knowledge-base in their work
Ability to manage a range of projects types and complex business initiatives and change management.
Identify and drive countermeasures in instances when projects are overdue or exceeding budget
Establish and monitor use of visual tools for New Product Development tracking and management
Provide monthly service performance metrics by product line, including Escalations, PM completion, MOD tracking, Net Promoter Scores, etc.
Communicate program/project status, and plans to management
Ensures compliance to Beckman-Coulter and Danaher policies and procedures
Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Engineering, Business, Management or a related field with 2-3 plus years of relevant experience
Work experience should include use of Excel and Visualization Tools like Power BI or Spotfire.
Fast learner able to quickly become adept at using the Danaher Business System tool set
Demonstrated ability to lead by influence and displayed leadership skills.
Readily accepts responsibility and accountability for project success and associated key decisions
Ability to learn all functions of the business and build bridges between functions and cultures to further the overall goals of the organization
Ability to travel is preferred (domestic and internationally) likely 10-15% of time
