As a Information Security Analyst, you will be a key player in supporting CHI's overall security posture throughout the CHI Franciscan hospitals and clinics in Washington's South Puget Sound. This is a cross-functional security role that is foundationally strategic but offers the ability to rapidly and frequently dive into diverse areas of technical operations. An individual may operate within this role in a way that complements their specific passions, strengths, and interests across various security domains.
What you'll do:
Lead assessments of current security technology and authentication systems and evaluate against HIPAA, Federal and State Information Protection and Privacy regulations, CHI Information Security Policies, and other relevant regulations pertaining to the protection of Enterprise information assets with respect to information security.
Lead the assessment and review of new and existing technology infrastructure to identify key risk areas, and ensure adequate levels of control are in place to address those risks and develop risk mitigation techniques and processes to ensure that all reviews as actionable by system manager and the operations staff.
Assist in the strategic development and execution of market-based security risk management initiatives.
Support Regional Information Security Officers in Information Security activities as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
(May substitute any equivalent combination of education and experience):
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), preferred.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science with emphasis on IT security preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in information services with 3 years of demonstrable and progressive experience operating within Information Security domains.
Minimum of 1 years of experience in healthcare or security consulting.
Require in-depth understanding of Information Security practices for network, servers, databases, applications, and advanced use of Information Security assessment techniques.
Knowledge of HIPAA Security Rule, and thought leadership in Information Security best practices.
