JOB SUMMARY Benefits Supplemental Questions
Reporting directly to an IT Director or Manager, responsible for analyzing, defining, and creating technological solutions for specific hardware and/or software to solve business problems and meet user and organizational needs. Performs application architecture and process design, technical documentation, and have a good understanding of application development life cycle processes. Develop database stored procedures, components and system-level applications running in the MS SQL environment, SQL scripts, and web services to integrate Williamson County mission critical applications. Level I of III Analysts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED
Performs technical analysis of applicable data to produce products and solutions to resolve technology-related business problems
Provides technical consulting and support services as needed
Assists with analyzing and testing new or existing procedures and developing alternative workflow solutions
Performs routine to moderately complex analysis work of computer systems and server environment to ensure stable systems for all users throughout the county
Analyzes and defines business processes associated with any system enhancement
Participates in designing and maintaining system configuration and setup
Works as part of a team to procure and implement major systems or upgrades to existing applications and systems
Writes technical procedures and documentation for applications including operations and users guide
Defines and documents business continuity requirements
Assists with minor programming for in-house IT projects
Uses reporting tools to develop simple to moderately complex reports which are needed for business processes and statistical reports to evaluate productivity and workload
Performs moderately complex data analysis, which includes compiling and cleaning data, and data manipulation and analysis. Utilizes data analysis software and/or appropriate Structured Query Language to perform the analysis

Vocational/technical diploma or certification and two (2) years of related experience; or four (4) years of related experience
Working knowledge of specific job-related technology
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Required within thirty (30) days of employment
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Working knowledge in all areas of technology software, hardware, data, methodologies, frameworks, and infrastructure
Understanding of complex databases such as Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) server.
Experience with and understanding of complex enterprise application administration and application integrations.
Skill in systems and data analysis, process redesign and documentation for complex applications.
Knowledge in the concepts and practices of continuity management.
Position involves prolonged sitting at a workstation, reaching, walking, twisting, bending, repetitive motions, and standing
Position involves occasional lifting and carrying of up to fifty (50) pounds and exertion of up to twenty-five (25) pounds of force to move objects
Work is primarily indoors in an air-conditioned office
Occasional travel between work sites as required
