S/he will prepare technical writing and documentation for new products and develop external/internal analysis and specifications.Responsibilities *
  • Develops and/or comments on external/internal analysis & specifications (financial, investment, product, sales &technology) on behalf of Product Management. * Aides the Product/Pricing team with product development activities including research, business specifications development, marketing material signoff, prospectus, private placement memorandum and contract content input and review. * Reviews, interprets, analyzes and comments on documents (i.e. contracts, specs, marketing materials, illustration questions and new business opportunities). * Advises and provides materials to aid and/or train assigned business area(s) in executing strategy. * Develops and presents concepts and/or performance to Leadership and/or Governance committees. * Leads product specification walkthroughs. * Serves as a resource to provide Distribution support. * Participates in Product Implementation meetings and supports validation of user acceptance testing results. * Communicates technical product requirements to internal stakeholders. * Collaborates with Distribution and Pricing to actively validate assumptions, evaluate portfolio competitiveness and address deficiencies that may materialize. * Leads Product Training for his/her assigned area of responsibility. * Acts as a resource for addressing product questions and issues during product implementation. * Evaluates the creation of "Big Data" tools for his/her assigned business area(s) to accurately analyze their data footprint and effectively use these assets in decision-making. * Provides responses for more complex questions, including providing internal stakeholders with an understanding of how all aspects of the product touch & interact with different areas of the organization. * Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions. * Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility. * Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. * Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. * Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. * Prepares technical writing and documentationEducation *

The Role The Senior Consultant of Executive Benefits, and High Net Worth Product Management will act as a technical resource to applicable internal/external stakeholders for Executive Benefits and High New Worth product implementations. S/he will prepare technical writing and documentation for new products and develop external/internal analysis and specifications. Responsibilities * <li>Liaises with internal stakeholders (i.e. pricing actuaries wholesalers, etc.) to coordinate custom pricing for EB & HNW cases and provides Distribution support. * Facilitates communication & scheduling of external/internal analysis & specifications (financial, investment, product, sales & technology) on behalf of Product Management. * Develops and presents complex concept proposals, performance and reporting for Department Leadership and/or Governance committees. * Leads the EB & HNW annual planning process in support of the Enterprise IT Planning process including the prioritization of technology initiatives to pursue. * Project manages the creation of approved EB & HNW concept specifications, development models and presentation materials for Product Management to secure governance approvals. * Facilitates the New Product Implementation process and/or assigned cross functional initiatives that require leadership and/or particular subject matter expertise. * Collaborates with business lead(s), Product Actuaries and Product Analysts to execute on opportunities and addresses issues that may surface. * Drives results with decision-making that effectively balances business and enterprise objectives with that of customers. * Develops training materials and delivers Product & Investment training. * Creates and oversees documentation of product request forms, BWR's and project change forms. * Drives on-time completion, quality and continuous process improvement. * Leads/participates in enterprise/strategic projects and influences support with a bias towards efficient action and commitment to organization objectives. * Advises and serves as a central resource providing expertise for currently sold product complex questions, including providing internal stakeholders with an understanding of how all aspects of the product touch/interact with different areas of the company. * Serve as a subject matter expert in all aspects of the product functions & the voice of product management during Product Development, Implementation & as assigned to cross-functional initiatives. * Interacts and builds strong collaborative relationships with Product Management, Actuarial, Distribution, departmental staff, key business and IT partners and third party administrators. * Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions. * Directs and enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility. * Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department and/or business unit for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility. * Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility Education * <li>4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required) Experience * <li>5 – 7+ Years experience in the life insurance industry that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities of this position.
