The role willsupport two sets of activities:
The Global Ad and
Media Business planning department serves as Business Planning arm of the GlobalAd Division GEVP and act as a hub of all the communication among multiple keystakeholders. The members of this department have opportunity to interact with GlobalAd Division GEVP, as well as CEOs in the Americas/Europe/Asia (including Japan)region. This is an excellent opportunity to observe, and understand, dynamicsat the executive level. There are two types of key activities in this office:ones which require a steady cadence, strong attention to detail, anddisciplined execution. The second type of activity set is very broad ranging,and, depends on the GEVP's current priorities.
With the missionof accelerating expected business outputs delivery by providing clear andwell-sorted information and recommendation to support the president of Mediaand Sports Company, the Global Ad and Media Business planning departmentis uniquely positioned to identify and facilitate significant organization wideinitiatives across Media and Sports company. For instance, a member of the teammay target the problem of creating synergy for Data Sharing and Monetization whilethere are functional problems need attention like how to establish commonoperational process across businesses among Media and Sports Company businesses.The Global Ad and Media Business planning department will frame the problem(what are we solving for), articulate which key stakeholders should be involvedwhen/how, and, proactively identify roadblocks and risks. They will be workingvery closely with multiple colleagues in Japan reporting to M&S Company president.
Overview of Activities
Work closely with functional leaders toassist in establishing and accomplishing strategic direction and prioritiesidentified
Work closely with businesses partnersin Japan for business management (KPI management)
Ability to work extended hours beyondnormal work schedule to communicate with teams in Europe and Asia depends onneeds. Also, comfortable with deadline-drivenwork.
Develop reports that summarizeinformation and insights to support Global Ad Division GEVP/Media and SportsCompany president
Identifying problems and findingsolutions in the business you may be aligned with
Visualize issues and next steps andnegotiate with multiple stakeholders under manager's support
Ideal Candidate Traits:
Youhave experience and/or good understanding of business management
Beable to grasp the fundamentals of new concepts and technologies quickly

MBA Degree (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 1-2 years business experience(including internship) in a fast-paced challenging environment
At least 1 year experience offollowing would be a plus:
Matrix organization with >1000 employees
Multi-national/global company with multiple product lines
Fortune 1000 company
Willingness to work with multipleteams across multiple time zones
Responsive and reliable tounpredictable deliverables requiring same-day turnaround
Proficient at PowerPoint andvisualization at senior executive communication level
Cross-functional experience (inforeign countries as a bonus)
Business project planning (managementconsulting/investment banking a bonus)
Experience with business modeling
Excellent written and verbalcommunications skill
Business level PC Skills:
Proficientin MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Japanese language skill is not arequirement but a great bonus
