The Distribution Analyst is responsible for assisting in scheduling product deliveries and ensuring communication lines are open with marketing, customers, carriers and suppliers. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist group with scheduling support.

  • Back-up for the Distribution Coordinator and Scheduler roles in the group to include:

  • Scheduling product deliveries with carriers.

  • Ensure that all monthly contractual obligations are fulfilled.

  • Communicate with various carriers on the delivery of product.

  • Work with product suppliers to avoid disruptions of service.

  • Minimize the possible disruption of pipeline allocations, supplier surpluses, or shortages.

  • Assist customers, accounting, and the product administration groups in resolving invoicing and any other issues that may arise.

  • Learn, and engage with, all relevant technological systems in place to provide solutions and historical analysis as required.

  • General assistance for others as needed.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent years of experience, is required.

  • Working proficiency/knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook and Word is required.

  • Ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate a common sense approach to problem solving.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills with internal and external customers at all levels within the organization.

VIEW JOBS 1/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-19T00:00 JOB SUMMARY: Daily activities would include creation and distribution of key business metric information, internal reporting, monthly metrics creation/publication as well as quarterly analytics. The position would also support the annual budgeting process; quarterly forecasting/modeling; reporting and other ad hoc analyses. In this role, the Distribution Analyst will support the Business leaders; providing analyses and insight related to business trends and forecasts. This will require a professional that is data savvy and must possess strong analytical skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Report and analyze financial and operating metrics, such as total landed cost, gross margin, working capital, asset utilization, capital expenditures, etc. * Perform financial modeling in support of the Business * Assist with Capital Project Justification, Completion and Analysis * Creation and distribution of monthly metrics and reporting packets * Compile data needed to support internal and external reporting requirements * Work with team on the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes * Monthly financial statement review * Actual to budget variance analysis * Volume sold to budget analysis * Support other departments as requested * Able to travel 15%- to assist with physical inventory and site audits * All other assignments and projects as requested by supervisors QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
