The Analyst Demand Planning II is responsible for providing all-over support to the Demand Planning & Business Analytics team. working closely with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance. The Analyst will utilize multiple data sources to provide critical insights in support of maximizing sales and minimizing inventory. The Analyst will support the demand planners in creating and maintaining forecasts and demand signals.

  • Load, maintain, and utilize HBI systems (including SAS and EMS) to ensure they properly support Activewear forecasting processes.

  • Enter and maintain demand signals to support business needs and avoid over/under shipments.

  • Participate in creating sales plans by category/brand/account.

  • Serve as the communication link between cross functional areas.

  • Roll up total unit and dollar summaries of seasonal demand against the OPC and prior years.

  • Analyze shipment, POS, commitment, and cancel data to make recommendations on TILs, make/drop decisions, and surplus inventory.

  • Exhibit an in-depth knowledge of managing multiple data sources and provide business insight based on analysis and communication of sales, inventory, productivity, service level reporting, sell-through and other key financial metrics.

  • Assist management in identifying improvement opportunities, POS trends, supply/demand mismatches, etc.

  • Review and update the Activewear forecasting system, processes, techniques, and methods to support continuous improvement in forecast accuracy.

  • Obtain, analyze, interpret, and disseminate key information that identifies road blocks in satisfying customer expectations.

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred concentration in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other quantitative business discipline) and 2-4 years business/analytical experience.

  • Prior forecasting and planning support and analysis experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in management of multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Exceptional organizational, oral and written

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with effective outside-the-box thinking.

  • Results oriented.

  • Advanced skills in Excel.

  • Preferred experience with SAS and other reporting/analytical tools.

They will work with a cross functional team with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics and Distribution to drive sales growth, OTIF improvement and inventory turns improvement. They will also be responsible for managing inventory cost to achieve desired delivery targets while also meeting business cash targets. This role will be directly responsible for tracking & communicating performance to key stakeholders and be a primary contact for key customer accounts. Operations * Develop supply plans to support customer demand driven from statistical forecast while balancing the trade-offs between costs, customer service and inventory investment. * Manage the planning support for multiple product lines using the appropriate planning methodology for different customer channels and product segments. * Ability to understand & analyze different statistical models & manage system settings to help minimize forecast error while maximizing OTIF performance. * Must be an ERP super user to ensure replenishment settings are optimized for each item based on commercial intentions for that item. * Monitor & optimize fill rate expectations by item for retail & E-comm channels to deliver high service levels. * Monitor weeks of supply for key accounts & incorporate in supply plan to manage inventory risk. * Perform metric reviews & RCA's to address delivery misses & past due orders. * Monitor & control life cycle expectations on seasonal items. * Collaborate with cross functional team members to ensure customer orders are satisfied at targeted levels. * Execute the Pre-S&OP supply and capacity review process to support the S&OP process. Collaborate with Businesses and Operations in the region to ensure the linkage between Demand and Supply and inventory commitments. * Maintain integrity of all planning parameters in the supply planning model inclusive of recommendations of make vs buy decisions. * Maintain standard metrics to monitor daily, weekly, and monthly planning processes which include measuring the execution of manufacturing plans & delivery performance of all distributions centers that support the business. * Develop ad-hoc reports as needed to identify and communicate key planning issues. * Perform other ad hoc analysis and duties as required. Customers & Relationships * Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of processes and sharing of best practices. * Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and the development of new processes as necessary. * Builds and maintains relationships that motivate, guide, and/or reinforce the performance of others toward goal accomplishments. Experience/Skills/Education Requirements * Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, math, computer science, supply chain management, or a related field. * 4+ years of experience with 1-3 years of relevant supply planning experience * Demonstrated supply planning experience with integrated business planning systems (SAP, Kinaxis, Oracle, Blue Yonder, etc.) * Understand financial drivers and balance conflicting goals to recommend alternative courses of action. * Must be able to meet deadlines and produce results in a timely and accurate manner. * Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail * Excellent analytical skills. * Mastery of MS Office tools is required. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred Experience/Skills/Education: * Certification in APICS, CPIM or CSCP is preferred. * Advanced degree in supply chain, engineering, math, computer science, supply chain management, or a related field. * Lean or Green belt certification * Basic SQL and database knowledge is a plus.
