Description
Gryphon Scientific is seeking applicants for an Analyst position to support two of Gryphon's Practice Areas (PAs), Internationally Engagement and All-Hazards Preparedness and Response & Chemical, Biological, Radiological/Nuclear (CBRN) Defense. The successful candidate will spend about half of their time supporting international engagement projects and the other half of their time supporting CBRN defense, public health and safety, emerging infectious diseases, or homeland security work. Both PAs will require the Analyst to collect and curate data from published literature, policy and plans documents, and other sources; conduct analysis; and summarize their findings in technical and non-technical documents for diverse audiences. The Analyst will also support the design and implementation of domestic and international workshops, exercises, and other various stakeholder engagement activities. This position requires critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong communication and client interface skills to develop and implement innovative, collaborative, and sustainable solutions. Our projects seek to strengthen health, laboratory and emergency management systems, improve cross-sector and regional collaboration, and address emerging threats worldwide.
