What Will You Be Doing?
The Flight Operations SMS/QA Analyst works the Flight Operations SMS/QA Manager to lead both the Flight Ops QA and SMS Programs. With respect to QA, the analyst will help plan, schedule, conduct, and monitor audits and evaluations. For SMS, the analyst will work with Flight Ops Leadership to identify safety critical items inside of Flight Ops and run Frontier's SMS on all identified functions. Additionally, the analyst will upkeep and present SMS/QA data in various Flight Operations/companywide meetings.

Create quality control checklists
Assist with the monitoring and evaluation Pilot dependability data
Compile and present data from Pilot Incident Reports
Assist with ongoing quality control projects that are in development
Evaluates new technologies to enhance safety programs within Flight Operations
Other duties as assigned by the Flight Ops SMS/QA Manager
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation, Safety, Quality Assurance, or other related field
1-2 years of related experience in aviation, auditing, or related field
Airline experience strongly preferred
Auditing Experience preferred
SMS experience preferred
Project management experience preferred
Familiarity with FARs
Pilot, A&P, or Dispatch experience helpful
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong communication (e.g., verbal, written, presentation) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create collaborative relationships that drive outcomes in the best interest of the company, with others in the organization
Ability to consistently hit all assigned deadline and due dates
Working knowledge of airline operations required
Basic understanding of Safety Risk Management Systems and processes.
Basic understanding of airline manuals and operational requirements.
Basic understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and standard airline quality practices
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate trends and results of data analysis to all levels of the organization
Proven ability to quickly understand complex systems, analyses, and processes, and manage projects
Excellent presentation skills
Advanced critical thinking skills
Must be detail oriented
Ability to work in a team environment to achieve a collective goal
Motivated self-starter
Ability to coordinate multiple priorities
Minimum age of 18.
