We have an excellent opportunity for an Analyst, Corporate Strategy to join our team.

This position will be based in Pasadena, Ca., and a hybrid role with 2 days a week onsite. This position will require up to 25% travel to meetings and medical conferences.

Summary:

The role will support the function of the corporate strategy team. The focus of the corporate strategy team is to provide analysis of current drug programs and evaluation of future development programs for strategic planning. Daily activities of the position will include creating and maintaining forecasts of drug market models, coordinating internal and external meetings, analyzing the current therapeutic landscape, evaluating the future therapeutic landscape, and creating relevant presentations for internal discussion and external use.

Job Duties Include:

• Models outcomes of internal drug programs.

• Creates and maintains forecasts of drug market models.

• Coordinates presentation materials regularly for internal and external meetings.

• Comprehensively analyzes and evaluates the current and future therapeutic landscape.

• Conducts primary and secondary research and perform rigorous data analysis.

• Evaluates therapeutic landscape for overlapping indications with internal programs.

• Attends medical conferences (in-person and virtually) to gather and synthesize data from the therapeutic landscape of approved and development stage programs.

• Prepares scientific and clinical material for Key Opinion Leaders (KOL's) calls and discussions.

• Stays abreast of regulatory and industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Xencor.

• Creates internal and external presentations for discussion.

• Conducts quantitative (often financial) analysis required to provide guidance on key questions.

• Works cross-functionally to gather strategic information from appropriate external and internal sources.

• Creates and presents materials communicating facts and strategic recommendations to senior leaders.

• Performs due diligence, identifying key risks and opportunities when working on potential opportunities and/or partnerships.

• Adheres to all department and company-wide policies regarding conduct, performance and procedures Performs other duties as required.

Job Qualifications:

Position requires a PhD and Postdoc in the fields of oncology, immunology or relevant fields; or a PhD with no Postdoc can be considered if they have at least 3 years prior experience working at a biotechnology company with similar responsibilities.

Occasional travel may be required, including travel between Xencor's Pasadena and San Diego offices.

Expected Base Salary Range: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00

The actual salary will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, including skills, competencies, education and experience.
