Job Summary

We are seeking an Analyst for our Controls Operations Group team at Standard Chartered Bank in Tampa. The successful candidate will be working with the Manager, FCC Controls Operations Group as well as other team members to drive origination, develop strong client relationships and be seen as an expert in Controls Operations Group by internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will need to be able to conduct Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), Quality Control (QC) and timely filing with FinCen. The candidate will further have to support the team with helping to ensure proper case management in ECM, assisting with case creations and closures as well as proper document retention. Such as produce Sustainable Finance Frameworks for clients.

We appreciate self-driven candidates who will be working closely with the wider Controls Operations Group, coverage and product partners to develop an understanding of the competitive landscape and identify prospective partners who can address customer needs and accelerate growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for conducting research and complex transactional analyses in Quantexa.

  • Understand and properly escalate cybersecurity-related risk, draft, and file Cyber SARs.

  • Understand how to handle various Production Orders such as government issued subpoenas, FFAs and 3.14(a) requests.

  • Assist with processing Law Enforcement (LE) Requests as well as 3.14(b) requests.

  • Responsible for data entry and gathering, as well as preparation of various reports and presentations.

  • Assist with various ad-hock requests to gather data for internal stake holders as well as external.

Key Criteria

  • Strong excel skills required. (Macros in particular).

  • Detail oriented.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Economic Crime Investigation or related field of study is considered as a plus.

  • AML or financial experience is a plus.

  • Experience in working with Python is a big plus.

Recruitment Assessments

Expected annual base pay range for the role is 53,105USD to 79,657 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
