Analyst BRT- Business Reinvention Team

Summary:

LPL Financial is currently seeking an experienced Analyst to join the Business Reinvention Team (Process Excellence and Simplification Team). The candidate should be driven with excellent communication skills. The candidate must have experience at reviewing large data sets, finding patterns, insights, and anomalies and communicating those findings in concise, clear and easy to understand formats that the BRT team and Service, Trading and Operations (STO) Leadership team can use to form action plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Analyze STO data and operational data including

Develop reporting, metrics to track progress with verbal and written communications summarizing key findings.

Create new and improve existing analytics approaches to solve questions around complexity and process simplification in a creative way.

Deliver key insights with interpretation and recommendation, contributes to the development of hypotheses and actions and presents them to management team.

Interpret Not In Good Order (NIGO) data, Form data, and client communications, with a focus on reduction, summarize information and present findings.

Point out patterns, divergence from patterns; identify opportunity and risk based on data set.

Work with all levels on management with the appropriate level of detail to solve problems.

Weekly written summary of activity for departments and tracking progress of BRT team.

Leverage data visualization to assist in telling the story for various areas of the business.

Mine and analyze internal data sets to help stakeholders develop action plans and / or draw conclusions.

Support peers and stakeholders as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) through analysis of results.

Improve current processes or find efficiencies by applying industry best practices as an experienced Business Analyst.

Create and manage reports & dashboards in reporting systems.

Identify and champion innovative process automation and robotics for improved analytics and reporting.

Work with the Technology team to develop a data infrastructure that enables the team to answer business questions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required (Preferred major in Computer Science/ Strategy/ Statistics/ Finance)

  • Experience Required: 1-3 year

  • Experience with tools such as SQL Server.

  • Highly proficient with MS Excel, including pivot tables.

  • Ability to create PowerPoint decks to share findings

  • Experience in a Broker Dealer or Financial Services company a plus.

  • Trusted to work independently with stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to communicate information to senior executives for decision making purposes

  • Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent data gathering, analytical and problem-solving skills

The SAP Business Analyst supports Illumina's Global Manufacturing Organization team by studying business processes and recommending system solutions. This is a technical application analyst role for SAP and the integrations to our MES systems. The focus of this role will be allocated to projects and quarterly releases including upgrades, new product introductions, integrations and net new functionality delivered via application configuration and project promotions. Approximately 80% of the effort will be project and 20% is sustaining focused. This role reports into the Global Information Services (GIS) team and acts as a strategic partner to the Company's Global Manufacturing team. The role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, planning, developing, testing, documenting, and implementing processes within various company business systems including SAP PP, SAP PI primarily and MES/SCADA Systems. The individual will work with the current CNC, Business Analysts, Developers, Super Users and end-users to ensure SAP and MES Systems meets Illumina's global manufacturing needs and industry best practices. This role functions as an analytical business partner and is responsible for driving solutions to problems including reviewing, planning, testing, documenting and implementing design changes within the MFG Applications space. Responsibilities: * Researches and provide best practice recommendations with a focus on end-to-end capabilities and impact to KPIs * Conduct analysis including root cause identification, development of solution proposals, and creation of business cases * Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
