What part will you play?
As an Analyst on the Audience Analytics team, you will be in a highly impactful role that is responsible for maximizing Turner's digital revenue and the utilization of all its inventory across all revenue streams. You will focus on audience targeting from a Yield and Sales position and packaging perspective across all of Turner's verticals. In this position, you will play a key part in identifying and implementing new monetization techniques and sales opportunities from an audience selling perspective. You will valuable in measuring and optimizing the overall health of Turner's digital businesses, including analysis of revenue, supply and demand, pricing and inventory consumption with a focus on audience products. You will then use these data points to drive Turner's approach to monetization (both strategy and tactics) by working closely with Sales, Data/Tech Strategy, Product, Ad Operations, Programmatic and the Revenue Analytics teams.
What will you be doing?
Work within Turner's DMP to create, manage and scale all active audience segments using both 1st and 3rd party data
Collaborate with Turner Data Cloud team to strategize on how to build out extensive, sellable 1st party data sets and audience targeting capabilities
Assist in onboarding new targeting products and platforms, including related sales strategy
Analyze Turner's digital sales inventory for audience products across all Turner properties
Monitor and maintain inventory forecasting and availability for audience segments by brands, content and platforms
Assist in creation and communication of strategy and positioning of new and existing 1st party data sets to internal teams
Work closely with Marketing and Sales on audience product packaging and Sales strategy for direct and programmatic campaigns
Help guide and communicate audience targeting monetization and yield strategy to other internal stakeholders
Support Ad Operations and Account Management teams with campaign optimization
Identify and report on key inventory and revenue metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Stay current with digital landscape, data and technologies
Help develop reporting and analytics tools
What do we require from you?
1+ years experience in audience segmentation and creation in a DMP
Understanding of audience and data sales strategy
1+ years of experience in Pricing, Yield Management, Data or Sales Analytics for Ad Agency, Publisher or Ad Tech vendor
Experience with digital ad serving systems, such as DFP and FreeWheel, and front-end sales systems such as Salesforce and Operative One
Ad Exchange or Programmatic advertising experience is a plus
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills required
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize under fast paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, vLookups, SumIfs, etc.)
College degree required. Preferably in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Science
