JOB SCOPE & PURPOSE
The Analyst within Analytics will produce timely, accurate, insightful marketing and business analyses and intelligence to Targetbase clients. He/she has curiosity across a broad array of analytic techniques and tools that is coupled with a business-impact mindset and the desire to expand his/her experience and capability.
Delivers impactful analyses of assigned projects with high quality, on time, and within estimated hours
Reviews data for insights, trends, and key observations
Develops working knowledge of Targetbase's key analytical competencies
Solves problems by thinking through approaches to the data or analysis
Participates as a collaborative team member, holding himself/herself and the team accountable for the work
Puts the client first, anticipating, understanding, and meeting/exceeding client expectations
Produces high-quality analyses
Is a strong and proactive member of the Analytics team
Is actively learning
Is demonstrating learning of marketing analytics tools and an understanding of data models and data marts
Demonstrates through day-to-day activities a commitment to the vision and guiding principles of the agency and the vision and strategic plan for SBA
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Minimum of 1-2 years of applied analytics experience
Experience in some of the following areas of marketing analysis: segmentation, predictive analytics, digital analytics, measurement, business intelligence, and/or market research
Bachelor's Degree is required
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITY
Basic knowledge of analysis techniques
Proficient with one or more of the data-mining and modeling tools: R, Python, SQL, SPSS, SAS.
Exposure and/or hands-on experience with digital analytics tools/platforms (Adobe, Google Analytics, DoubleClick, etc.) and with the principles of digital tag-management.
Exposure to data visualization dashboard tools (Tableau, Domo, etc.)
Exposure to Data Cloud environments (Azure, Amazon WS, etc.)
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong communication, presentation and team-interaction skills.
Overtime as necessary
