What You'll Do:

The Analyst, Advanced Insights and Data Solution will work with cross-functional teams in a sales support and strategic role. The Analyst, Advanced Insights and Data Solution will be responsible for the creation of Discovery packages/reports delivered to Nexxen's clients in both pre-sales and post-sales stages. Such packages include comprehensive recommendations to Nexxen's Brand Advertisers as well as creating data products for activations, which are based on data analysis and visualization of consumer interest gleaned by Nexxen's Discovery Technology. This role has client-facing aspects to it, and requires being comfortable with presenting, training and providing platform walkthroughs to both clients and internal teams. The Discovery Analyst is the subject matter expert for the Discovery platform on both the technical level as well as a gifted storyteller who can turn data into actionable insights.

The ideal candidate for this position is driven, curious and a fast learner that asks a lot of questions to get down to the nitty gritty details. They also need to be a creative, out of the box analytical thinker that loves data and is eager to tell a story that problem-solves.

You will enjoy this position if you like that sweet mix of being an independent heads-down worker and working with people while thriving in teamwork settings. We would also love for you to feel comfortable with making mistakes and vocalizing ideas even if you don't know the right answer.

Each day can be different here at Nexxen, but some of the things you can expect to be doing daily are:

  • Use Nexxen's proprietary Discovery platform in order to obtain information and insights.

  • Create Insight packages for Nexxen's fortune 500 clients.

  • Proactively drive problem solving analyses, new market hypotheses and deliver actionable insights.

  • Produce effective and consultative story-telling client presentations.

  • Deliver compelling fact-based market understanding and deep business insights to drive strategy or problem-solving solutions for Nexxen's Fortune 500 clients.

  • Walk clients (internal and external) through insights and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive and support Discovery marketing solutions - develop and drive a shared learning agenda with our lines of business (global and local) to ensure strong focus, actionable insights and co-ordinated efforts.

  • Participate in strategy sessions held as part of the RFP response process.

  • Join agency meetings as a representative of the Discovery team.

  • Work closely with the client services team supporting strategic accounts and evangelize Discovery solutions.

What Will I Bring?

  • 2+ years experience in research, marketing or other relevant field

  • High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Great analytical skills

  • Work well in a cross-functional team environment

  • Interest in the Analytics, Big Data and Advertising space

  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent experience

  • Experience in research/analytics/account management/social media manager/ agency strategy teams - a plus

  • Experience in the programmatic advertising space - a plus

In support of pay transparency and equity, the minimum and maximum full-time annual base salary for this role in New York and Los Angeles is $75,000 - $85,000 at the time of posting, with the potential of an incentive or bonus. While this is our reasonable expectation this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, education, certifications, responsibility, and geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. We offer a variety of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, 401(k), EAP, parental leave, unlimited vacation, and company-paid holidays.
