Job Description:

The Accounting Analyst will report to the Controller and be responsible for PCM and Innovation Analysis, AOP/LE Expense Planning, and Variance Analysis as it relates to operations including labor, yields, material usage, overhead,and absorption.

Manage and maintain cost standards and bills of material. Performance guidance and review with operations management, including LEAN, CI, and other initiatives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Partner with Manufacturing to determine savings associated with efficiency and other process improvements.

Work with Procurement on product formulation and purchasing cost savings opportunities. Work with R&D / Marketing on new product launches. Provide product cost analysis for proposed new products.

Provide AOP product cost review / analysis support. Produce various weekly / period / quarterly analyses and variance reports for Plant Management review. Lead lean processes as a Plant Lead Champion.

Demonstrate Lean thinking and participate in Plant Problem Solving and Kaizen events. Track the flow of Inventory through the SAP system. Work with manufacturing to ensure cycle counts are accurate and reconciliations of staging areas are complete.

Participate in the monthly close process. Conduct quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley audits of various key controls Special projects as needed.


Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business. Master's degree a plus but not required.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in consumer product industry (food manufacturing experience strongly preferred)

Computer Skills:
Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications.Proficient knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP

Communication Skills:
Strong communication skills required

Special Skills:
Proficient knowledge of cost accounting principles.

Proficient knowledge of accounting principles. Thorough understanding operations process flow. Ability to support CI/LEAN & other cost savings initiatives.

Strong analytical and interpersonal skills required

See link: Responsibilities The Global Income Tax Accounting Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the global tax accounting process for the interim and year-end income tax provision under ASC 740. Specifically, this includes responsibility for preparation of financial statement presentation, footnote disclosures, related tax account reconciliations and journal entries. This role is also primarily accountable for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of global tax accounting processes, particularly within the global tax accounting software, and participating in special projects related to U.S. compliance, tax audit assistance and tax planning. This position reports directly to the Global Income Tax Accounting Manager and is based in our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. Job Responsibilities: * Prepare the consolidated income tax provision, including preparation of the tax footnote disclosures to be included in the Company's SEC filings (10-Q and 10-K) and other tax related disclosures, as well as Audit Committee materials. * Assists with the submission and review process for quarterly and annual tax packages from international operations. * Assists with management of ongoing preparation and review of international tax basis balance sheets and provision to returns. * Liaise with FP&A and Controllership to prepare legal entity profit forecasting. * Supports calculations for the quarter and annual global effective tax rate (for actuals, budget and forecast by legal entity and in consolidation). * Assist in the measurement of and accounting for uncertain tax positions in accordance with ASC740-10. * Assist on tax reporting and tax compliance process improvement initiatives globally. * Proactively research and monitor issues and in-period changes related to income tax accounting. * Assist in technical and software training related to the company's ASC 740 US GAAP Income Tax Accounting process globally. * Manage and maintain OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) and Global Access Management (GAM) software, leveraging technology to continually maximize efficiency in the tax reporting process. * Coordinate with and assist team members across the global tax team. * Provide support on various complex global income tax accounting matters and related financial statement implications (e.g. uncertainty for income taxes, indefinite reinvestment of earnings, realizability of tax attributes, etc.). * Supports the execution and monitoring of conformity of tax accounting workstreams with related internal control processes and documentation (Sarbanes-Oxley compliance). * Assist in gathering supporting documentation in response to inquiries from external auditors. #LI-GM1 Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in accounting, required; CPA or advanced tax degree preferred. * 2-4 years of relevant tax accounting and compliance experience as an accounting/tax professional in a multinational environment. * Possess intermediate knowledge of ASC 740 tax accounting rules and actively pursue increased tax knowledge through assignments and monitoring current developments. * Experience maintaining OneSource Tax Provision (OTP) and Global Access Management (GAM) software. * Must be detail oriented, can prioritize and multi-task independently, and can support work processes in a fast-paced, global environment with a high degree of accuracy. * Solid written and verbal communication skills, as well as highly organized.
