The Apple Hardware Engineering team is looking for an analysis and simulation tools engineer with at least two years of professional experience. You will be proficient with system design software solutions in the area of signal integrity, power integrity and circuit simulation, with specific experience in solutions from Ansys, Mentor, Cadence/Sigrity and HSPICE/Spectre/ADS. Using thorough knowledge of the system design process, you will specify, architect and develop solutions to improve the efficiency and productivity of the Apple system design teams. In this highly transparent, multi-functional role, you will be responsible for developing best-in-class flows for the analysis and simulation of Apple circuit board designs. You will empower to work with key product team members to identify problem areas, optimization opportunities and generate requirements. You will develop new methods to analyze complex designs to enable the assessment of their quality before manufacturing. Finally, you will have the ability to set the technical direction for multi-functional teams as you strategically plan and tactically execute company-wide solutions.
Design, architect and develop analysis and simulation solutions on complex, leading edge circuit boards. BSEE required, MS or Ph.D. preferred
