Here at Amway, our interns develop through real world experience and are assigned meaningful projects that challenge and allow for personal growth. All Interns receive project support and on-going performance feedback from a person advisor and hiring manager.

Amway hosts over 80+ interns each summer and offers programming events designed to assist navigating Amway culture, making the most of a summer internship, and building a successful career. The program provides exposure to a breadth of career fields and offers unique opportunities to learn business acumen, work cross-functionally and showcase their skillsets directly to hiring managers and executives.

Internship Eligibility:

This job posting is for our summer 2021 Internship Program (May - August); qualified candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and one semester or more left of school to complete at the beginning of their internship. Candidates who have graduated are not eligible to intern.

Internship Job Title: Market Research Intern

What is special about this team: The global market research team offers a unique opportunity to strengthen and expand both primary and secondary research skills while managing the nuances of conducting research in different countries and cultures. Our global team works in collaboration with our affiliate market research analysts who are located in our market offices (i.e China, India, Thailand, etc.).

How would an intern contribute to the team's success: While working with a key stakeholder within the organization the candidate will complete primary research and supplement with secondary research in order to inform enterprise strategies.

An example of a typical project is: Work on a primary global market research study, in support of Enterprise strategies.

Intern will lead the synthesis of primary and secondary insights to guide business implications, recommendations, and strategies. The assigned project will support the designated business questions, research objectives, and success criteria.

What skills and background will be important to be successful in this internship?

Desired Skills:
Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.

Ability to effectively work across a cross-functional team to execute a project. Creative story telling around research insights, which can gain traction with an internal-client audience. Proficiencies in Excel and PowerPoint are a must; SPSS and Qualtrics are plusses.

Desired Degree: Working towards a Master of Science in Marketing Research, Master of Marketing Research, MBA, BBA or BS in Marketing, Statistics, Analytics, or related business discipline.

Internship Job Title: Packaging Engineer & Scientist Intern What is special about this team? The packaging engineering function is paramount in the product development process carried out by a multi-disciplinary team. The team's objective is to inspire our Millennials and Kids product category, creating new products that engage our Amway Business Owners (ABO's) and attract global consumers. How would an intern contribute to the team's success? Working with the Millennial and Kids Platform technical team, she / he will work under the mentorship of the Packaging Engineer providing assistance to develop packaging with an open innovation mindset and thinking creatively to contribute packaging options as well as putting in practice his / her academic training. The Packaging Engineer / Scientist intern will also contribute in the packaging testing and transferring to manufacturing as well as packaging component development. She / he will gain hands-on experience in the packaging development as well as working in a multidisciplinary team providing exposure to a variety of departments and interact with various levels of the organization. He / She will understand the packaging function in the product development from the bench-top and at the various steps of the scaling-up processes. They will also gain proficiency with the various systems (Clarity, PLM, STARLIMS) used in the product development process. An example of a typical project is: Development of packaging for a variety of product formats (snacks, bevrages, etc.) for kids What skills and background will be important to be successful in this internship? Desired Skills: Understanding of packaging engineering / science Desired Degree: Packaging Engineering / Science (Third Year Completed).
