What you'll do?

Autoliv ASP, Inc., a world leader in the development and manufacture of automotive safety systems (airbags, seatbelts, etc.) is currently accepting applications for an AMT Team Lead, Weekend Shift to work at our AWC Columbia City, IN facility.

Job Description

  • Lead the Weekend Shift Shipping Team Operations for AST, AOA, IBC, AOS and AMM including their sub suppliers.

  • Assure all daily shipments are completed and loaded accurately and on schedule including Sub Routes, Line Hauls, and Customer trucks.

  • Scheduling and overseeing inbound material and put away process including documenting any damage

  • Assure that all material is properly loaded and secured.

  • Working lead to assist in staging, labeling, scanning and loading shipments.

  • Support all Continuous Improvement Activities; APS activities; maintain all standards; 5S

  • Processing paperwork, ASNs and driver check in.

  • Be familiar with and assist in cycle count inventories for all parts to insure proper inventory levels.

  • Coordinate all sort requirements based on production requirements and priorities for shipments.

  • Responsible for opening and closing the facility. Including end of day checks.

  • Move trailers as needed in and out of the dock doors.

  • Four ten hour days. Weekdays to be determined

What you'll bring

Additional Requirements

  • BS Degree preferred; HS Diploma with 5 year's work experience acceptable.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership role, preferred in team environment

  • Experience in shipment preparation desired

  • Previous computer systems experience desired (AS400, SAP, MANIT, Microsoft Office)

  • Previous automotive experience beneficial.
