Ammunition Management Analyst

The Opportunity:

As an Ammunition Management Analyst, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations.

You will assist US Army client staff with training ammunition management support. You'll leverage technical expertise for training ammunition requirements distribution and management of training ammunition authorizations, usage, and forecasting.

You will assist and monitor compliance with established policies and procedures and attend and participate in staff level assistance visits and organization inspection program conferences. You'll analyze training ammunition support information and provide recommended solutions to training ammunition support problems which impact unit training activities. You will produce training ammunition reports and status updates to enable subordinate commands to properly plan and conduct training. You'll assist with the review of organizational submission for annual training ammunition requirements.

You will support the client's Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) in Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) and provide expertise in role of instructor, and content facilitator. You'll develop, implement, and evaluate TAMIS curriculum based on adult learning principles and proficiency requirements.

You will maintain flexibility to tailor training to learner's needs as necessary. You'll provide and facilitate classroom TAMIS training through classes, workshops, or seminars and through help desk technical assistance. You will provide competency-based and proficiency-based training with a focus on skill development and knowledge retention.

You will serve as educational consultant and coach for TAMIS training program development and support at the Army Client Readiness Training Center. You'll execute all duties ethically and in a manner that facilitates an environment of learning and a culture of collaboration and open communication across stakeholder organizations. You will attend meetings and conferences and maintain educational competencies for proficiency, as required.

You Have:

  • Experience working on a Brigade level staff or higher

  • Experience as a senior Army Ammunition Manager

  • Experience with user and trainer of Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS)

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

  • Knowledge of Army ammunition management policies, regulations, and processes

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
