The Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County has 15 Half-Time (900) hours; 12 Reduced Half Time (675) hours; 6 quarter time (450) hours and 3 minimum (300) hours available. AmeriCorps members who will conduct evidence-based academic enrichment support to youth at Boys & Girls Club of Livingston County (BGCLC), Union League Boys & Girls Club (ULBGC) and Boys & Girls Club of Elgin (BGCE). At the end of the program year, the AmeriCorps members will be responsible for improved academic engagement for 350 youth ages 7-13 as defined by factors to include school & Club attendance, school connectedness and expectations of academic success.
In addition, the AmeriCorps members will leverage 50 volunteers who will be engaged in serving alongside AmeriCorps members providing logistical support in mentoring, tutoring, high-yield activity delivery, STEM programs and Summer learning loss prevention. Member Duties : Provide before and after-school programming including the summer for youth ages 5-13.
