We are seeking the Head of Talent for our Americas Center Of Excellence (COE) to develop and drive strategic talent, engagement, diversity & inclusion initiatives that support our business strategies in region (Canada, USA, Latin America).
The Head of talent COE for Americas will lead the deployment of the strategy and tactics, ensure policy and processes implementation & compliance, for Learning, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Engagement, Diversity & inclusion, Performance Management & Succession Planning throughout the region. The goal is to evolve into a fully integrated regional function that will support the business needs across Carrier enterprise in region and in country contributing to a more consistent employee experience.
This individual will implement efficient Talent strategies, recognizing the diversity of the Business Units' needs across the region to serve them best while ensuring we continue to build consistency and scale in these activities from a Carrier Corporation point of view.
The Head of talent COE for Americas will be a key member of the Global Talent COE and of the Human Resources team that will lead the culture and employee engagement value set that supports the growth of the company. The Head of talent COE for Americas will have specific responsibility to lead the regional deployment of Carrier Talent strategy and framework to support business objectives in alignment with its overall Human Capital strategy. The strategy and programs will enable Carrier to compete for, attract, acquire, retain and develop premier talent essential for the company's long-term success and sustainable competitive advantage.
The Head of talent COE for Americas will manage a team with regional resources and in country resources where scale allows. This is a customer minded strategic role requiring the incumbent to develop and leverage a thorough understanding of the business strategy to develop and execute a Talent strategy for the region and its business units, considering all stakeholders including employees, managers, candidates, academic institutions, third party providers.
The ideal candidate is a senior-level Talent individual with proven experience working closely with executive leadership teams to lead and execute Talent strategies and programs to enhance business capabilities, stakeholder relations and talent development. He/she will also be an outstanding talent & high potential identifier/assessor and a thought leader on how to deploy new ideas, tools and programs into the organization to support effectively the business strategies.
