Rothschild & Co – IT Division The Rothschild & Co IT Division is a single global function of approximately 160 professionals. Through key outsourcing partnerships, the division has progressively standardized the delivery of IT services to the group.

The IT Division is comprised of two main functions - Infrastructure and Business Applications. The Infrastructure function delivers the transversal IT services that Business Applications are built upon as well as delivering core IT functions directly to users. Services delivered by the Infrastructure teams include datacenter and hosting, networks and communications, end user compute, service desk and onsite support and security.

Additionally, these technical service towers are supported by services delivered by IT finance, project management office, vendor management and architecture functions. Role Overview This role has two main responsibilities. The oversight and management of IT matters and staff in the Americas region whose activities and responsibilities are distributed across existing IT service towers.

The leadership and management of the Global Identity and Access Management service tower. In the capacity of Americas Head of IT; you will lead and develop a high performing team that handles all IT matters across the region. You will collaborate with the global CIO, CTO and all group IT tower leads to ensure a consistent global approach.

You will have regional responsibility for all aspects of IT services. This means that you need broad technical experience to ensure the necessary service interdependencies are met. This requires a good understanding of IT service management concepts and processes needed to run a mature enterprise IT function.

In the capacity of Head of Identity and Access Management; you will be responsible for defining and establishing this new service tower and will provide the customer side management of the outsourcer’s team and oversee its function and performance. You will have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra) products. You will be familiar with security concepts and technologies in the wider Identity and Access management space (Logical Access Controls, PAM, RBAC, Authentication solutions, PKI concepts, etc.) as well as have experience leading a team responsible for its design, operations and management in the same areas.

In both capacities you will form part of the senior management team and will be expected to articulate the needs for your region and for the Identity and Access Management capability that you will lead. In addition, you will assist the CIO Office to produce local and global budgets. The role requires that you lead IT service providers to manage technical and non-technical escalations as well contractual considerations.

Promoting the services provided by Group IT with the business will be a key success criteria for the successful candidate. You must be a strong leader and excellent communicator, comfortable discussing complex technical topics as well as conveying requirements for your team. You will prepare and deliver high quality and concise reports and summaries for IT management and the business.

The ideal candidate for this role will have demonstrable experience in leading an IT function that is delivered by both internal teams and outsourced partnerships. Responsibilities Provide leadership, support and management for all local IT teams. Provide the customer side management for the outsourcer running local services and Identity and Access Management.

Contribute technical direction for both strategic and tactical activities. Work with service leads and group IT senior management to prepare both service specific and wider infrastructure roadmaps. Own the relationship with key America’s IT suppliers, participating in governance meetings and managing escalations through to resolution.

Work closely with our Group IT Vendor Management Office to ensure contractual obligations are met and performance metrics are tuned to drive the expected service performance. Work closely with the outsourcer’s service delivery manager to ensure they provide the best possible service to the region. Develop and maintain relationships with senior business stakeholders.

Act as the single point of contact in the region for the CIO and other senior business stakeholders in the event of major incidents. Prepare and deliver presentations for technical or business senior management audiences. Review RCAs for your region and global tower to ensure their quality and accuracy and that improvements are driven to avoid reoccurrences.

Participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning as required, focusing on technical improvements that could be added to technical roadmaps. Experience and Skills An existing senior IT manager role with responsibilities for Identity and Access Management. Excellent understanding of Identity and Access Management governance, concepts, processes and tools.

Experience working in a high pressure environment with a demanding business. 10 years managing distributed enterprise infrastructure systems. Experience working in financial services, legal or consulting services preferred. Experience partnering with outsourced infrastructure suppliers.

Proficient understanding of Applications Development, data base architecture and system integration. Demonstrable experience of strategic and tactical decision making to ensure the ongoing availability and resilience of infrastructure services. Excellent leadership skills to lead teams through difficult operational situations.

Strong planning and organizing skills including the ability to manage several work streams simultaneously. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred.

Ability to work non-standard hours to support on call escalation issues when the situation demands.

Willingness to travel internationally and domestically on an occasional basis Expected base salary rates for this role in our New York Office will be between $200,000 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, salary offers are determined on an individualized basis and are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience and education. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
