  • * Providing care for patients throughout procedural services * Supporting the Procedural Float Pool specialty, the designated staff nurse: * Prepares patients for procedures and provides post procedure and extended recovery care for inpatient and ambulatory populations. * The rotation will include, but not limited to, pre/intra/post procedure Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, Extended Recovery, Outpatient Infusion Center, Cardiac Rehab, and Pain Management Center. * Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.To qualify you must have: * Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required. * Experience:*
  • Post Anesthesia Care/Procedural Recovery Unit experience preferred. * Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit preferred. * Intravenous skill experience preferred.* BLS and ACLS required. * Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged. * Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract
