Ambulatory Care Network Supervisor Access and Scheduling

Our Division of Community and Population Health programs build upon, and tie together the Hospital's inpatient care coordination, Ambulatory Care Network, community outreach programs, and the effort of community-based providers. Now, we're seeking a Supervisor to help drive this work forward.

Step into the fast paced division of our Access and Scheduling Center in a role responsible for supervising and evaluating our Patient Financial Advisors. Participate in the execution of various projects, including those focused on access, scheduling, triage, and telemedicine. This role will be responsible for ensuring there is a seamless flow for our patients by effectively balancing work assignments, schedules and resources to respond to caller demand. Use your analytical skills to regularly assess operations, and help implement quality/performance improvement initiatives. Use your quality improvement skills to drive changes, from access to communication, with a goal of improving the quality of care for patients in the community.

Preferred Criteria

  • Bilingual Spanish

  • Previous Supervisor experience, preferably in a union setting

  • Experience working in a community health setting

  • Ability to function independently with minimal supervision

Required Criteria

  • Baccalaureate degree or a minimum of two years works experience in healthcare environment

  • Proven supervisory, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills

  • Knowledge of insurance policies as they relate to outpatient services

Competence using and explaining advanced computer applications and telephone systems
