Amazon Postdoctoral Scientist

DESCRIPTION

Amazon is looking for a passionate, talented, and inventive Postdoc Scientist with a strong machine learning background to help build leading research in generative AI and foundational models.

As part of our Generative AI science team in Amazon AWS Bedrock, you will have the opportunity to impact millions of our customers by researching innovative algorithms that conduct automated red teaming and blue teaming of large Foundation models. You will gain hands on experience with Amazon's large-scale computing resources to accelerate advances in machine learning and foundation models. You will work along side a supportive and collaborative team with a healthy mix of scientists and engineers to research and develop state-of-the-art technology for inference optimization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic qualifications include:

• PhD in a relevant field, received within 2 years of starting the program;

• Proven publication record in Operation Research, Management Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Econ, or other related technical fields;

• Experience in data science and quantitative research;

• Proficiency in technologies relevant to the subfield.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;

• Expert knowledge in modeling and performance, operationalization, and scalability of scientific techniques and establishing decision strategies.
