TEGNA is seeking an Employee Experience Specialist - TA Ops to provide transactional, informational and onboarding support to HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and in-house recruiters as it relates to talent acquisition operations.

Responsibilities:Handle a high volume of requests for job postings, offer letter/personal services contract creation, on-boarding and processing hires.

Provide administrative support to the talent acquisition process by creating offer letters/personal service contracts, initiating and monitoring background check process, initiating and monitoring the onboarding process, and facilitating moving the candidate into process hires and ultimately into the core HRIS/payroll system.

Ability to provide effective follow through with complete documentation from request to execution and through to final onboarding processes.

Effectively and professionally communicate with candidates, hiring managers and HR Business Partners, respond to concerns/questions, guide the offer letter/personal services contract creation, onboarding and final hiring process in a timely manner adhering to standard SLAs (expectations of turnaround time).

Utilize your interpersonal skills and extensive on-the-job training to provide professional, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and responsive customer service at all times.

Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, timeliness and support within parameters of TEGNA's policies and procedures.

Stay current on TEGNA's programs and services through on-going training provided by TEGNA.

Update required databases to ensure accurate compliance reporting.

Assist with maintaining accurate informational documentation used by Team in the course of day to day workload.

Assist with integration of employees during an acquisition.

Ability to work with and as a team even under remote working conditions.

Flexibility to work rotating shifts (8 hours) and extended hours as necessary.

As the Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for executing the compliance requirements for the Transmission Integrity Management Program (TIMP) as required by 49 CFR 192 Subpart O. This role is responsible for the identification, assessment and mitigation of pipeline safety risks associated with the transmission system. Responsibilities include maintaining and analyzing transmission asset data, planning and executing in-line inspection and pressure testing assessments, and providing input on the long-term capital plans for the gas transmission system, including design & specifications for new/replacement transmission pipelines to ensure regulatory compliance. Specifically, you'll have the opportunity to: * Update and maintain the transmission pipeline risk modelling including implementing or enhancing the risk model and providing updates to GIS to correct missing or incorrect data. * Mine transmission asset data to analyze and determine applicable threats to the pipelines and schedule assessment and mitigation. * Implement procedures for material verification and maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) reconfirmation. Manage population samples for material verification and develop remediation plans. * Coordinate with Engineering and System Planning on the timing, tracking and progress of transmission pipeline projects. * Develop long-term infrastructure investment plans to address regulatory implications or record keeping issues pressure tests, replacements, retrofits, etc. * Review transmission work order documentation for tracealble, verifiable, and complete records requirements. * Perform all engineering analysis and technical support required for the TIMP program, including, but not limited to: * Integrate historical TIMP assessments from Direct Assessment (ECDA and ICDA) and In-Line Inspections (ILI). * Develop site specific ILI plans and coordinate ILI runs, including field support. * Calculate safe operating pressures for any anomalies found. * Monitor changes in high consequence areas (HCAs), moderate consequence areas (MCAs) and class location, including monitoring activity in transmission rights-of-way from feedback through operations. * Update assessment schedule and risk model as needed and perform class location change studies. * Evaluate valve spacing and blow off requirements. * Perform purging calculations for transmission lines. * Review and approve transmission pipeline engineering designs to ensure compliance to all integrity required aspects of the pipe and design. * Provide support for DIMP/TIMP regulatory, data requests and internal audits. Monitor changes in state and federal pipeline safety regulation and adapt TIMP program requirements accordingly. * Provide data for internal performance reporting and external performance reporting including DOT Form PHMSA 7100.2.1 (Transmission Annual Report). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Strong understanding of 49 CFR 191 & 192 and AMSE B31.8S. * Strong technical and analytical ability, including geographical information systems (GIS). * Experience in natural gas pipeline projects including development, estimating, project management, engineering, and construction. * Demonstrates deep understanding of the pipeline safety regulations associated with gas transmission systems. * Exceptional team and interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work with other departments. * Excellent written and verbal communications. Basic Qualifications: Education: * Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Civil or other approved engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
