AM Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervisory duties in the housekeeping department. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Supervising the housekeeping staff

• Breaking out the house and provide team with daily assignments

• Evaluating the staff's job performance and coaching and counseling as necessary.

• Clearly communicating the standards of performance and ensure all required training occurs.

• Performing and supervising the cleaning and inspection of guest rooms, public areas, and back of the house.

• Ensuring compliance with proper cleaning techniques, procedures, and brand standards.

• Ordering supplies and maintaining accurate inventory.

• Following proper lost and found procedures for items left behind in a guest room.

• Reporting any items in need of repair.

• Following all safety procedures while working.

Minimum of 1-year hotel experience and excellent communication skills, as well as basic computer skills. Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Housekeeping Supervisor must have open availability and be able to work a flexible schedule of weekends and holidays.
