The Office of Alumni & Parent Relations is hiring student staff for Reunion 2024, June 28-30. Reunion is an annual event that invites all alumni back to campus for a weekend long celebration. Students are hired to work in various roles including event management support, hospitality, and administrative tasks, ensuring that our alumni and guests are welcomed and comfortable throughout the four-day event. For those with a more flexible schedule, additional opportunities for project support may be available during the two weeks leading up to Reunion as well.

Evaluation is based on punctuality, ability to follow instructions, willingness to learn, and work ethic.

Core Duties

• Assist Alumni & Parent Relations staff with event production including but not limited to set-up and tear down of events (moving supplies, placing signage or returning items to Alumni Center)

• Transport guests and staff via University owned golf cart (must pass driving background check, only licensed and trained drivers will be assigned to this duty )

• Assist A&PR with various hospitality duties including but not limited to assisting clients/guests by answering questions, giving directions; acting as host/greeter at events

• Comfort in engaging and communicating in a professional manner with donors, alumni, and other high level members of the University community

• Flexibility to work early and/or late hours

• Other relevant duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Available Reunion Weekend (June 28, 2024 - June 30, 2024)

• Excellent customer and guest services, including pleasant disposition

• Willingness and ability to ask questions when uncertain of assigned task

Preferred Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organization skills

Physical Requirements

• Lift 25 pounds
