Aluminum Welder

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Marine Welder to join our team. The Marine Welder will be responsible for performing welding tasks on marine vessels, offshore platforms, and marine facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in marine welding techniques and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various welding techniques, including arc welding, MIG welding, and TIG welding, on marine vessels, offshore platforms, and marine facilities.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures.
• Select and prepare welding equipment and materials, including electrodes, filler metals, and shielding gases.
• Weld components and structures according to welding procedures, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Inspect welded joints and surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct repairs and modifications to welded structures as necessary.
• Collaborate with other team members, including pipefitters, engineers, and supervisors, to ensure the timely completion of welding tasks.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, including OSHA 10 Maritime standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Marine Welder or similar role.
• Proficiency in arc welding, MIG welding, and TIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of welding equipment, materials, and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• OSHA 10 Maritime certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
