ALM Analyst

If this aligns with your values and you want to join a leader in the banking industry, we are hiring for an ALM Analyst that will be responsible for ongoing modeling of interest rate risk reporting to community banks.

MAJOR DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Creates and analyzes asset/ liability management and interest rate risk modeled results while applying measurement techniques and applicable banking laws.

• Prepares and supports reports for partners' executive management and board members related to measuring, monitoring, and compliance with regulatory policy statements on interest rate risk management.

• Ensures assumptions are correctly modeled and documented.

• Prepares risk management reviews and verification of inputs.

• Maintains robust knowledge of modeling capabilities and performance characteristics.

• Assists the Director of Treasury & ALX Consulting with other ALX and TIB projects.

• Complies with all banking laws and regulations, and maintains the confidentiality of bank and customer information.

REQUIREMENTS/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting

• 1-3 years risk management or interest rate experience

• Ability to learn new computer applications quickly as needed to complete analysis assignments.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

• Ability to provide excellent service and communicate across all levels effectively.

• Ability to maintain strong internal and external customer relationships

• Software: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, Conditional Formatting, Macros) and must possess the ability to learn other proprietary applications quickly

Preferred

• 4+ years risk management or interest rate experience

• 1-3 years basic accounting principles experience and knowledge

• Call Report experience

• Knowledge on industry specific interest rate risks and balance sheet management

• Experience with ZM Financial System's ZMDesk or OnlineALM
