The Allo Structured Cabling Foreman will be the primary contact for structured cabling projects. Responsible to compile and provide project cost estimates.

Manage, supervise, coach and mentor employees. Ensure operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Collaborates on the development and implementation of project materials, methods, metrics and tools.

This position available in the following locations:

North Platte, Alliance, Imperial, Ogallala and Scottsbluff

Responsibilities Ability to understand and install a structured cabling system including pathways, spaces, horizontal cabling, backbone copper, backbone fiber optic, cross and inter-connections, and testing. This includes understanding applicable codes, standards, and industry-best practices.

Supervise the installation process which may include contracted resources, various teams or combination of technicians to ensure compliance with all local, state and company standards, specifically safety and quality. Selects, trains, coaches, and mentors technicians. Responsible for conducting formal coaching and reviews with employees that report to this position's supervision.

Ensure all material, equipment and supplies are available for projects. Manage workload to effectively meet customer demand. Ensures proper communication and coordination of structured cabling with other Allo teams as well as contractors, customers and designees of a customer.

Serve as a customer interfacing escalation point. Honest, reliable and good work ethic. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications


High School Diploma or equivalent

Associates degree or 2-4 years of equivalent work experience


Experience managing operational processes

Experience leading a team

Experience working with fiber and/or coax and/or internal structured wire i.e. CAT 5/CAT 6 etc

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, inspect, test, and maintain train control systems and grade crossing warning device equipment. SAFETY: Comply with company and federal safety rules, policies and procedures to include wearing required safety equipment, responding to and acting on safety concerns. MAINTENANCE: Load and unload supplies; dig holes and trenches for cable; paint signal equipment; climb poles and signal masts. Handle cable and wire to make electrical connections. MACHINES AND TOOLS: Use non-power tools such as: shovels, picks, axes, sledgehammers; high precision measuring tools such as: micrometers, voltmeters, amp meters, recorders; hand tools such as: screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, tape measures; power tools such as: drills, power saws.
