Allied Health Instructor (Medical Assistant & Patient Care Tech) with clinical knowledge, skills and expertise in teaching a variety of instructor led classes, including clinical lab, front office, and science classes.

REQUIRED

• Associate degree, or higher or Medical Assistant Diploma, and three years professional experience, or certification in allied health specialty. Additional experience in Medical Assisting and/or in a medical office environment.
• Licensed Medical Assistant.
• Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
• Certified as an American Heart Association BLS instructor, or must become certified within probationary period if teaching CPR.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in staff development or instructor role.
• Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Effective analytical and organizational skill, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to educate others and serve as a positive change agent.
• Demonstrates knowledge in the use of audiovisual equipment.
• Prior clinical and adult education experience.

PREFERRED
