OVERVIEW:

In this position, the ideal candidate will support DIA's premier counter-terrorism center with actionable and timely finished intelligence production. This individual will provide tactical intelligence analysis and engage with DoD resources in theatre on a daily basis. This role requires strong analytic skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and confidence in a rewarding and challenging environment. This exciting position also offers the ability to collaborate closely with analytic counterparts and customers in the DC area. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Determine the credibility, value, significance, and relevancy of information from various data sources to create clear, concise, analytical products to meet customer requests in a timely manner.

  • Present findings to leadership and senior executives in attendance of internal/external meetings with the ability to explain complex information.

  • Confirm validity of information and review intelligence products comprising of information and/or data from numerous public and private data sources.

  • Analyze and assess intelligence against a wide scope of data sources.

  • Gather, interpret, and compare data to produce reports and establish conclusions.

  • Deliver analysis findings, and make recommendations based on research.

  • Develop concepts of operations for processing and analytical initiatives.

  • Development of functional requirements to support various processing and analytical initiatives.

  • Utilize technology and data exploitation techniques to provide both proactive and reactive support.

SKILLS:

  • Experience researching, conducting all-source analysis, and producing tactical-level intelligence products.

  • Experience writing Quicklooks, Baseball Cards, and various other finished intelligence products.

  • Ability to conduct tactical-level research to develop innovative technical and/or analytic solutions to combine terrorist indicators with other data sources to support both terrorism and other National Security Branch initiatives. Background handling, analyzing, and fusing multi-INT sources such as: IMINT, SIGINT, and HUMINT.

  • Background in counterintelligence and counterterrorism is a plus.

  • Experience with target and lead development preferred.

  • Knowledge of the dynamics of military and regime leadership, national military strategy, terrorism, strategic doctrine, regional relations, internal and regional stability and security.

  • Practice applying analysis and evaluations to address information gaps and the aptitude to provide new approaches to pinpoint solutions to analytical shortfalls.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite, or experience with standard analytical search engines or public source databases is a plus.

REQUIRED:

SENIOR LEVEL -

  • Bachelor's OR Master's Degree with 8 years relevant experience OR 10 years relevant experience OR equivalent Intel/ academic experience.

  • US government clearance: Active or Current TS w/ a current SCI or be SCI eligible.

  • Credentialed SME OR specialist in relevant field.

  • Excellent writing, verbal, and communication skills.

MID LEVEL -

  • Bachelor's AND 4-7 years relevant experience OR equivalent Intel/ academic experience.

  • US government clearance: Active or Current TS w/ a current SCI or be SCI eligible.

  • Excellent writing, verbal, and communication skills.

JUNIOR LEVEL -

  • Bachelor's AND 1-2 years relevant experience OR equivalent Intel/ academic experience.

  • US government clearance: Active or Current TS w/ a current SCI or be SCI eligible.

  • Excellent writing, verbal, and communication skills.

We are a small defense contracting company that is veteran owned servicing the US Department of Defense. Responsibilities Serve as part of a team within the Intelligence Community supporting the Department of Defense's mandated terrorist watch list. Apply in-depth intelligence analytic skills to identify, assess, and report on all-source strategic and operational intelligence pertaining to the customer's mission. Candidate will be assigned to one of a few possible mission sets: Watch Listing, Mission Management, Intelligence Operations, or Threat Assesment. He/she is responsible for performing intelligence analysis activities related to ensuring the quality and accuracy of nominating known and suspected terrorist to a national watch-list. This will include: * Reviewing incoming watch-list data * Performing reviews of historical records following an encounter where a potential discrepancy in watch-list records has been detected * Conducting special quality assurance projects, such as performing a targeted review of specific areas of interest. Candidate will use multiple government databases to provide in-depth, all-source, multi-discipline analysis and recommendations; prepare intelligence products, reports and other deliverables using Microsoft Office products. Candidate may be called upon to support operational missions in support of national security objectives. Qualifications Required qualifications: * An Active in-scope TS/SCI clearance is required * CI polygraph preferred, or the ability to obtain. * Bachelors degree and a minimum of four (4) years of experience; OR Military Intel. school and a minimum of four (4) years of intelligence experience supporting the DoD; OR a minimum of eight (8) years of intelligence experience supporting the DoD. * Previous experience performing analytical intelligence focused on either homeland or CENTCOM/SOUTHCOM AOR. Preferred qualifications: * Military experience in a deployed environment conducting intelligence analysis. * Experience maintaining government agency watch lists. * Intelligence Watch experience. * Experience using intelligence analysis specific databases. Working Conditions The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment. The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Reston, VA supporting a DoD customer.
