AmeriCorp will organize volunteer recognition programs and special events. They will build quality relationships with volunteer team and ensure appreciation is given.
AmeriCorp will find substitutes for volunteers due to sickness, vacation, etc. or fill in as needed. They will train new volunteers and keep good communications with all volunteers, updating them with new happenings and procedures on a daily basis. They will establish weekly tasks for volunteers and follow through with tasks given.
As a member of the Hames Center Team, other day-to-day operational duties may apply such as keeping the facility clean and organized. Position allows for AmeriCorp to take on other projects that fit his/her skills as needed such as operating our climbing wall, media, tournament creation and workshop and program hosting. Develop activities that allow families to get healthy together. The position's primary focus will be programs for seniors, children and youth and recruit, train, sustain, motivate, maintain volunteers and update all front desk information, as well as coordinate and host workshops and rentals
