The Center for Alabama Korea Education Economic Partnership comes from the ALABAMA ACT 2016-217. AKEEP Office is in an Alabama State Government building and located next to the Alabama State Capitol, the State House in the center of downtown Montgomery Alabama.

The Member will work on multicultural, international, and Korean related education, economic development, or workforce related programs. Promote AKEEP's goal to educate the students of low-income communities, minorities, and underrepresented immigrants and to motivate them to achieve her/his best academic excellence, so to aim for becoming a contributing global leader with educational and economic empowerment through AKEEP Programs. KSL Programs are a 3-week KSL (Korean as a Second Language) Summer Camp under the National Security Agency and the National Foreign Language Center and KSL Afterschool Program.

An exciting multicultural activity-oriented Bridge of Unity in Diversity (BUD) Project has 4 programs: (1) Cultural Art Education Workshop, (2) Leadership Training & Character Building, (3) Comprehensive Arts & Theater Production, and (4) Bridging Community Relations. You will experience AKEEP programs, then establish Public Relations & Fundraising Protocol, and build the Database, and expand cooperate & industry relations for target beneficiaries and relevant stakeholders. You will promote AKEEP's the critical educational and economic empowerment to the public and influential leaders in the state, region, and local, then raise funds for AKEEP operation with the guidance of the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. You will also build the capacity of AKEEP by (1) recruiting AKEEP's target beneficiaries of low-income students, underrepresented immigrants, and volunteers, (2) empowering them through AKEEP programs, (3) raising operational funds to improve the quality of life of AKEEP target populations while serve and learn from them.

AKEEP VISTA Finance Associate is to learn and implement the financial operation of a nonprofit organization, AKEEP's unique educational programs, and its impact to the target communities. You are to (1) research programmatic and financial impact to the potential target population, (2) assess AKEEP partner contribution's fair-market values while adequately evidencing them with recognized and acceptable financial policy and data from state and national practices, (3) set up a sound AKEEP Finance & Budget Administration policy for the operation, all program staffs, and volunteers, (4) reinforce the Policy and ensure good practices by providing appropriate support and keeping up solid evidences, and (5) support AKEEP Grant Writer, Public Relations & Fundraiser, and the Executive Director to increase programming and operational budget. Build and improve programmatic and financial capacity of the AKEEP operation and Programs along with potential programs in the pipelines for target beneficiaries in the central and east Alabama. Collaborate with all staffs while participating in AKEEP Programs and the Board meeting as appropriate.
