Support the production and modification of airplanes and associated equipment established per contractual agreement. Type and distribute flight reports, prepare and collect documents for delivery package and Airworthiness letter for regulatory requirements.

Maintain aircraft and engine historical records. Perform all required inspection including physical inspection on aircraft serial numbers, including vendor names, part numbers and MOD levels for entry into the delivery documents.

Position will require working in confined spaces and crawling through an opening 17.75" X 10.00". Perform audit/surveillance of all manufacturing and quality assurance processes, according to specifications, process and procedures. Review completed aircraft records to obtain accurate information through use of drawings, manuals and specifications.

Perform inventories to assure that all items listed in inventory records are present and installed in proper location on the airplane or listed as an authorized shortage. Conduct pre-document record review as required and present document package to Contracts, Customers, and Regulatory Agencies at time of delivery.

Initiate and document any nonconforming materials, hardware, software, tools, parts assemblies or portions thereof, according to specification, process and procedures. This job requires access to live aircraft, and eligible candidate will be required to work in extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications

Computer Skills, typing and utilization of Microsoft suite of tools (example: Excel / Word) English comprehension required Frequent (3-6 Hrs) contact with Metals and liquid coatings Frequent (3-6 hrs) exposure to noise.

Frequent use of personal protective equipment for face/eyes and occasional use of hand/arm and ear protection may be required. This is an ideal position for engineers seeking to broaden their knowledge of systems architectures, change management processes while at the same time getting exposure to airplane programs executive level decision making. The Systems Engineering team will break the development program cost curve by leveraging Model Based Systems Engineering across the aircraft, production system, and aftermarket services. We are looking for a few forward-thinking Systems, Production, and Services engineers who will help enable this initiative. Successful candidates will have demonstrated their ability for technical leadership, be willing to challenge the status-quo, and thrive in loosely structured environments. The Systems Engineer (SE) applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic life-cycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Having a working knowledge of Boeing's Airplane development methods, and knowledge of BCA airplane programs will also be a benefit. Ideally having experience working on or with a development program, and having interacted with supplier chain, and multi-skilled, multi-department teams. Being a SE within Boeing Commercial affords the opportunity to support recurring, developmental programs assigned to Programs or reporting to Functional Teams such as Product Development, Airplane Level Integration, Airplane Level Engineering Process and Tools Development or Airplane Systems Integration. Second area: (BCA) Customer Support team is looking for Systems Integration Engineers who will be responsible for integrating between Customer Support and New Airplane Programs. Serve as Customer Support advocate within Airplane Development. Represent customer interests and concerns with New Airplane Program design teams. Advise & coach BCA Customer Support & Services organizations on technical knowledge of New Airplane Programs. Ensure airplane architecture, configurations and designs are maintainable, reliable and supportable. Third area: BCA Affordability tests, pilots, and deploys affordability tools that provide predictive cost and pricing analysis to support cost reduction across BCA. Position will require close collaboration with design engineering, finance, and supplier management to identify requirements and feedback to tool development. Ensure tools and processes are compatible with 2CES. Identify and document best practices and scale up to BCA wide deployment. Qualifications Required: * Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience.
