UTC Aerospace Systems is looking for an Airline Sales Director for our Landing Systems business located in Troy, Ohio.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales strategies for the customers in the European, Gulf, and India regions that are complementary to global airline sales strategy.

  • Own the execution of long-term strategies for the assigned region, including planned targets (sales, EBIT, segment share).

  • Lead and develop a globally diverse team of direct reports.

  • Identify and create opportunities for incremental business growth.

  • Create organizational awareness of customer needs for products and service.

  • Interface with customers at all levels and functions in the sale and support of Landing Systems products and services.

  • Maintain knowledge of competitor offerings and strengths and develop countermeasures for competitor offerings.

  • Manage policy deployment initiatives for the region.

  • Interface with the functional organization to manage regional needs (contracts, finance, engineering, marketing, etc.).

  • Develop airline communications (press releases, quarterly newsletters) consistent with the overall sales strategy.

  • Construct and deliver a persuasive presentation to large audiences and leadership.

  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing productivity improvement tools and standard work supporting key processes.

  • Work a flexible schedule to meet the deadlines of a global customer base.
