Position Title: Aircraft Paint Technician

  • Eden Prairie, MN

Position Reports to: Paint & Interior Business Development Manager

Location: Premier Jet Center

  • Flying Cloud Airport

Primary Operational Objectives:

Utilize experience and skills to complete all phases of aircraft painting while maintaining a safe work environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work as team member to provide quality products and services for our customers.

  • Prepare and mix proper painting materials.

  • Mask and prepare aircraft for primer application.

  • Sand primer for paint and topcoat application.

  • Mask and prepare aircraft stripes, registration numbers and other areas as needed.

  • Removal of masking on aircraft.

  • Assist with upholstery shot duties as assigned by management.

  • Deliver aircraft or project to customer in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Complete necessary documentation, information and updates for the work order.

  • Maintain shop facilities and equipment such as changing filters, cleaning, and repair.

  • Responsible to follow and comply with all aviation safety rules and regulations.

  • Meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards.

  • Must be able to work scheduled hours.

  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • Four years' experience in aircraft or automotive painting.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Must be able to understand, interpret and communicate documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions and manuals.

  • Previous experience working with parts ordering a plus.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.

  • Ability to wear PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) when required.

  • Ability to work with toxic chemicals, fumes and loud noises.

  • Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned.

  • Sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and ability to work in high or precarious places.

  • Close visions.

  • Ability to work with heights

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges Primary Responsibilities: * Identify savings initiatives that drive specific and measurable results, providing timely and meaningful client updates * Participate in analytical, experimental, investigative and other fact-finding work in support of concept development * Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to define, align, and deliver payment integrity initiatives in support of assigned clients * Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, approaches, and / or products * Recommend changes to current product development procedures based on market research and new trends * Industry thought leader and practice SME Required Qualifications: * BA/BS degree or equivalent experience * 3 years of experience in healthcare or medical field * 3 years of experience billing, coding, and auditing claims * 2 years of experience in a collaborative / consultative role within the healthcare industry * Strong project management approach with excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills * Exceptional presentation, communication and negotiation skills * Strong computer skills: Access, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint * Maintains working knowledge of CMS rules and regulations and knowledge of procedure and diagnosis codes (CPT, ICD-9/10 coding, HCPCS and DRGs) * Self-managed, self-starter with the ability to support multiple concurrent projects and meet tight delivery timelines Preferred Qualifications: * Advanced degree in health care or medical field * 5 years of experience in the health care industry (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial) with deep exposure to Payment Integrity * 2 years experience working in a matrix and highly adaptive environment handling tight deadlines * Coding certification through AAPC or AHIMA * Basic level proficiency with SQL * Knowledge of statistical methods used in the evaluation of healthcare claims data Careers with Optum.
