Aircraft Maintenance Support | Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum
We're looking for a temporary Aircraft Maintenance Support at Paul G. Allen's Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum (FHCAM) located at Paine Field in Everett, Washington.
This is a temporary position working 30 hours per week that will be payroll serviced through an outside agency. We expect this position to continue through December 31, 2019

Now a bit about us
FHCAM was started in 1998 when Mr. Paul G. Allen began acquiring and preserving the iconic armor and warbirds that you see within our hangars, many of which are the last of their kind. In 2008 the collection moved from its home in Arlington, WA to its current location on Paine Field in Everett where it now houses these priceless treasures.
The aircraft, vehicles and artifacts at the museum are a testament to the era's engineering skill and humanity's spirit during the world conflicts of the 20th century. On rotation in our working hangar are military artifacts from the United States, Britain, Germany, Soviet Union and Japan, acquired and restored with unparalleled authenticity to share with the public.
In this role you will
Assist the Aircraft Maintenance Technicians in the day-to-day maintenance, operation and annual inspections of various Aircraft, tugs, GSE and other equipment at Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum, by
Assisting with the operation of FHCAM aircraft, equipment and artifacts for training and display purposes.
Performing basic maintenance duties such as cleaning aircraft, parts and associated equipment.
Assisting with annual inspection duties on FHCAM aircraft.
Assisting with aircraft operational duties such as fueling and servicing other aircraft systems
Maintaining good housekeeping practices and assists with cleaning of hangar, shop and storage areas
Operating of Ground Support Equipment to include but not limited to ground power units, fork lift, man lift and tugs.
Working with the team to set up and tear down of events.
Some of the qualifications we seek
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and 1 plus years relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working with aircraft operations and general maintenance.
Knowledge of all maintenance tools and equipment, and ability to use them effectively and safely + general knowledge of, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel and oil systems.
Ability to operate vehicles and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
Able to work independently, closely with others and as a member of a team.
Able to lift 50 pounds with or without assistance.
Reliable and dependable | Regular work hours are Monday thru Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm during non-flying season. Will be required to work several Saturdays throughout the year for events.
Experience with routine maintenance, heavy maintenance and operations of armored and other military vehicles preferred.
