Description:Responsible for direct support of both F-35 Production Operations and Flight Line Delivery Operations. Duties will include supporting the Lightning Operations Center (LOC) for both standard and non-standard work instructions/recommendations for Flight Operations. Will conduct daily Data input/output management for multiple internal data systems as well as call center operations, constraint management, Launch/Recovery (Last Chance), FOD mitigation activities, and mobile operations when required. Conducts technical briefing daily with flight line leadership.

Indirect support coordination and oversight of current and upcoming Flight Line construction activities when called upon to respond by Coordinating with Flight line Delivery Operations leadership to ensure priorities are understood and to facilitate the coordination of flight and ground activities with contractor representatives during periods of combined aircraft and construction equipment/personnel movement.

  • This is a 2nd Shift Position*

Selected candidate must be able to work designated shift or rotate shifts as required. Ability to flex schedule is vital to position. Some weekends and overtime required as a general standard in this position.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or any Engineering related discipline

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to read and interpret engineering documents

VIEW JOBS 1/11/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-11T00:00 Job Description: Leidos currently has an exciting opportunity for an Aircraft Maintenance Manager supporting the "Total Aviation Support Services for the DEA Aviation Division", Program, located at Alliance Field, FT. Worth, Texas. (This is a multi-year contract.) The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all program scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance through established Leidos Incorporated Repair Station and Quality Control Manual, IS-BAO, FAR PART 91/145 and industry standard compliant policy and procedures. Responsibilities will include: * Establish comprehensive aircraft maintenance procedures covering, IS-BAO and FAR PART 91/125/145. - Develop and maintain an accurate and timely aircraft maintenance reporting system. - Oversee the recruitment, selection, discipline and training of personnel - Maintains appropriate liaison with suppliers/vendors, local state and federal oversight agencies and purchases of services - Develops and implements both internal and sub-contractor training programs to communicate current information and procedures to employees and evaluates training programs to determine their effectiveness. - Maintains appropriate liaison with suppliers/vendors, local state and federal oversight agencies and purchases of services - Provides guidance to subordinate employees and peers when appropriate, collaborating and cooperating with other members of the management team - Support the performance appraisal systems for maintenance employees by completing timely and accurate evaluations. The successful candidate will have the following Education/skills/experience: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) from an accredited four (4) year college or university in Aviation Maintenance or related field. Education/degree requirements may be substituted with training and job experience. Hold a valid certificate issued by the FAA with both airframe and power plant ratings and Inspection Authorization certification. Fifteen (15) plus years extensive experience in aircraft and power plant maintenance and repair with a minimum of five (5) of the fifteen years as a Maintenance Supervisor at the level of responsibility for making airworthiness decisions. Demonstrated experience shall be in a similar position within the last twelve (12) months; shall possess a working knowledge of the applicable FAA Regulations, specifically with FAA parts 91, 125 and 145 and its application to DEA/Designated Aircraft. Candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance within 30 days of submittal, or currently possess an active DOD Secret level Clearance. This position is a full-time responsibility and must be located at the main on-site Alliance Facility.
